I built a 1:1-scale Imperial II-class Star Destroyer in Minecraft! It has a fully fleshed out interior including bridge, hangars, reactors, offices, halls, life support, quarters, cargo, brig, medcenters etc.; and the project took ~250 hours over 2 months. It was fun to edit during the Artemis II hype xD

I know since your on java using commands is easier but how do you stay committed to building giant structures even with out commands
This could have easily been a simple "Hey look at this cool thing I did" but turning it into such a passionate dive into Star Wars history in- and out-of-universe really does so much for it.
The passion for SW and the art of three-dimensional design really shines through so clearly in this video and makes it that much more fun. Kudos for the incredible work!

Idk if this is really smart or really dumb but could you use the starwars battlefront maps for inspiration on interiors or other details?
This makes me feel kinda bad now everytime we saw a star destroyer go down in the movies. There aren’t just officers and storm troopers. Just think about all the innocent medics, engineers, cafeteria workers and sanitation workers it takes to run just one of these things.

Seriously though. You could use a couple of autists, or regular fans, to fill in walls and floors etc! It would’ve definitely helped filling in the hull. Do you have kids yet, perhaps? 😅
