Brain rot games ruined it. There's barely any quality games being made anymore. Because developers know a brainrot game is much easier to make and will earn them much more than if they work hard on a game and make it good. They have stopped making non brain rot games altogether let alone good games. There's barely any option to play now especially this page is useless now it's basically all just some stupid brain rot. Brain rots ruined it. Roblox used to be so simple and good back in 2018, it was absolutely peak 🙁

greed ruined it long before brainrot did since it’s what is letting brainrot thrive. the games that started this want kids to get used to low quality so they could make as much money as possible with less and less effort
i feel like old roblox had slop games before but they weren’t quite as mind numbing, full of purchases and overstimulating coco melon colours and flashing things… maybe it was just “slop” for the sake of creating fun goofy dumb games and not getting to the most played section with the littlest of effort (and also making 10k a month)

Despite old Roblox being better let’s not forget before brainrot there were scam games, like “OBBY OBBY OBBY” or “Escape from stinky toilet” and most of them infested the front page, and such a nice example “2018” where it was full of it and crash grab simulators

I’ve kinda felt this way about Roblox since 2015. I still play games like *Build to Survive Robots* and *Pilfering Pirates* for the “Old Roblox” vibes.
Roblox was never a platform of good quality games.
However, if you’re looking for good games, then complaining won’t help you.
Try going into dev Discord servers, looking for showcase servers or game finders.
There are thousands of developers that are still trying to push up their passion project.
( You won’t find any good game in the front page, take that for sure )
