It’d be better if mojang only updated every year or two, but have larger and higher quality updates players actually want and need. Not some common loot/small biomes most will never encounter sht.
Why can't they have the same spike feature for the red blocks as well
i can definitely see using the sulfur spikes for rocket exhaust in a build
The sulfur cave under water looks really good!! I can see these being used to make oceans vibrant
I like that they’ve made the polished variants more vibrant, and while it’s mostly the same as drip stone, I’m happy to see a new variant of stalactite and stalagmite in the game. Plus it’s nice to have a way to make Sulfur renewable. I hope Cinnabar gets something similar (Potentially it could get budding cinnabar, similar to amethyst).
I would like if the polished Sulfur was a touch more vibrant, but I’d settle for how it is now too
Such a shit update
it's funny that an episode of HermitCraft which doesn't reach as many people as usual as one of the few episodes I watch.
i always remembered stalagmites as the ones on the ground because of the g, and stalactites as the ones from the ceiling because of the c!
Still no dynamic lighting
Here’s hoping they add a unique hue of blue fire for the sulfur, and possibly making sulfur lanterns with gold meaning we get gold chains too
And given how sulfur spikes are so similar to dripstone, there’s no reason not to make an icy cave biome with ice spikes
The cool way to remember Stlagtights & Stalagmites "Hold on tight to a Stlagtight" (It's the one that hangs)
5:33 the way I usually remember it, StalaCtites, C for ceiling, and StalaGmites, G for ground
It would be cool if falling on the sulfur spikes gave you nausea for a second or two IMO
3:04 this is not possible in survival so there's kinda no point in nerfing it
What is the thing he uses to compare textures?
The desaturated sulfer and cinnabar looks awful!! We've got to change that.
<3
Love these changes
The way I learned to differentiate stalactites and stalagmites is not quite suitable for children…
Stalactites contain a word that is also something that is hanging…
i always wonder why do emmisive blocks have shading on them it just looks wrong especially on lava
I think they stoped the sulpur cube going into boats so players don't have to pack out the boat to make those contraptions…
Also Stalactites are holding on tight and stalagmites stand mightily…
3:34 – This reminded me of when Glowstone and Glass used to have Ambient Occlusion… I still wish they didnt changed that.
would be nice if the sulfur spikes dealt more damage than dripstone when impaling from above (or maybe applied poison) as they lack the fall damage amplifier, which would add a tiny bit of variety to the spike stuff
i usually remember stalagmites/stalactites as g = ground and c= ceiling
YouTube automatically synchronized this video for me, is that supposed to happen? It's never happened before with your videos
Minecraft: Be creative! But not too much, devs don't like it
So happy they're bringing back the absolute worst terrain feature from Caves and Cliffs!
5:29 stalactites hold tight
Stalacmites stand with might
These textures look like someone's first mod lmao
Anyone know what light level the cubes give off when given a frog light?
after fifteen years, sulfur is finally back in minecraft
it's look like a big corn for me.
Soooo… what can we actually do with sulphur and cinnabar? Is it just a new texture we can use? Or do they become important in crafting recipes?
I like the new varient of the dripstone,
Those sulfur spikes would be perfect to make yellow wisteria trees!
I really wish they're put in a recipe where you can combine sulfur and coal and get gunpowder.
