The platform is not suitable for…well anything, anymore, it continues to get worse and worse and we just fucking eat the slop that we are given while whining like it would change anything, we just need to abandon the platform. Its over.
The constant drama's developers get into is one thing, but the fact that its still mostly KIDS on this platform who are taking nothing but either slop or wondering why some of their favourite games are having drama or, not understanding it is fucking sickening.
The owners of the company do not care anymore, they keep making it worse and feed us shit, they banned a pedophile catcher which started this fucking down-ward spiral, now there is all these features that actively help pedo's, subtle but still there. Making a different entire app to keep only kids there so pedo's have a fucking selection, age verification using a partner company that has been PROVEN, to steal and store data, and they do nothing.
The community and people who make good and talented games are the reason we still play, and as much as I want to play these games and love them, it is best they branch out to different coding or platforms such as steam or gamejolt, truly talented people should NOT be on roblox right now or, maybe ever (which is sadly what I see happening in the platform).
That's- all really, I'm probably going to be a hypocrite and go against this rant but fucking hell PLEASE, stop playing.

unfortunately there are a lot of people who have put a LOT of time and in many cases a lot of money into their favourite game(s), e.g. adopt me. i 100% understand the point you’re making, and i agree, but it would be difficult to just abandon everything you’ve built up for years. i think roblox probably knows that and they just rely on everyone to stay, and..we do (unfortunately)
I think asking everyone to leave is not going to happen, but I think more reasonable expectation is to ask people to STOP BUYING ROBUX
I think that we should all do that! Also, it is really sickening how all of these slop games that have 5 billion microtransactions and were done in like a day get 100x more players than games that have actual effort into them (and I think that’s done on purpose just so that RBLX get more money). That’s why there were developers that just went away from the platform, just because they barely get any payment from Roblox’s side (and now with RBLX Plus, it’ll be even worse). I personally quit in 2024 (haven’t regretted it) and even just looking back 2 years, the platform turned from trash to absolute garbage as more of these pointless games rise and more brainrotted people join the platform. Like seriously, they practically don’t listen to the community anymore at all (especially nowadays) and don’t actually care about privacy, since all of these ID/Face and what not updates are all to just track your data, and as we know it, even if it’s not Persona taking your data and it eventually getting itself onto the web, RBLX has had times of really serious data breaches happen before. So yeah… I think it’s finally time for more people to just go and quit, as some people say “nothing lasts forever, we gotta move on eventually from given thing!”

I know people complain about this whole “We need to leave roblox” situation but are we yes WE, going to actually leave the platform?.
I’m sure you all have the same mindset on the current roblox “Its boring, No good things, No good updates, The ceo sucks” But let me ask you this one question. Are you going to abandon your favorite game
Think about that for me, Everyone has a favorite game that they play and spend loads on, Doesn’t care if it’s sab, Gag, Or shooting games or horror games on roblox. That will always be YOUR favorite game, So saying we need to leave the platform is a stupid response (No hate to op) But I think people will still stay on the platform because of their favorite game. Or because they’ll still play Roblox no matter what
I left about two weeks ago. It’s hard to let go, but it’s worth it.
Honestly I only really used the platform for grace(which was basically shot to death) and dandys world(mostly for playing with friends) I think I’m just about done with it either way.
