So I was just out and about in ginger island wanting to see the qi quests when I passed this group of slimes. However, ONE OF THEM HAD A HEART SYMBOL ON THEM AND ANOTHER HAD AN EXCLAMATION MARK AND THEY MADE A BABY SLIME????????
I thought this could only happen in slime hutches, does anyone know how this happened in ginger island?

consensual slime-making is supposed to be hearts from boths slimes im pretty sure…

It can happen with any slimes, anywhere. That’s how some people flood their towns with slimes, they hatch a few using the slime egg incubator in town and then just let them keep breeding with each other.
Slimes can breed regardless of where they are, it’s just something they do occasionally. You can see it happening in the mines sometimes.

It can happen anywhere. Slime hutches do nothing for breeding that any other area doesn’t do EXCEPT for limit them to 20. There are some benefits, but the breeding mechanic isn’t one of them

I literally just saw this in the mines the other day!!! They made a baby slime!!!
I’ve see it happen in the mines before.
