If you play on PC with the lookup anything mod, it’s so nice. It has all that info at the oress of a button. On switch I also enjoyed playing, but I didn’t bother with all this relation with villagers stuff
I ask Google for a list of everyone’s cheapest loved gifts including Ginger Island and Calico Desert. Screen shot it and saved it in my photos then I take 6 chest and put one by the bar, one by Harvey’s, one in front of Jodi’s, one by Clints, one by Robin’s and finally one by Marine’s. Then I fill those with loved gifts for each person close to that chest. Example the bar chest has Clint, gramma, Grandpa, Alex, Pam and Penny. Oh also Willy and Shane they are easy to find there.

I think its in the relationship tab the game actually tracks what gifts are liked/disliked for every character for you!

I think I still have a full notebook from when the game first came out somewhere in my apartment lmao. I do have a journal/planner that I occasionally jot notes down for videogames in, I like to plan
