Eh I dont think paths are really worthwhile until you get quality sprinklers.

Not bad for that first sprinkler set. Though, personally I usually skip them because they don’t water much. I find it easier to use my watering can until I get to the next sprinklers up (they cover a 3×3 square).

Then I keep them all pressed together to save space with a cobblestone path around the perimeter (mostly for esthetics)

You need a second scarecrow, that one isn’t covering the left and right side. Count 8 squares across/up/down for a rough guide of coverage.

Personally I skip the basic sprinkler. Not that much of a step to get the better one

    Generously a 3/10

Way too early in the game to try to be automating imo. Early game you should be scaling (growing as much as possible to be able to reinvest as much as possible to earn even more). I’m usually not fully autowatering until year 2 (though I’m not a hyper optimizer so you may be able to do it earlier if you really grind mines and Skull Cavern).

I’m not sure if you don’t have more seeds planted because you can’t afford them or if you just have a bunch waiting for sprinkler spots to open but either way you’re literally turning down money by not having as much planted as you can reasonably water by say 12-2pm. You should be farming as much as possible to level up your farming level to get quality sprinklers ASAP and when you can craft enough of those, that’s when you phase out watering your own crops.

I would highly recommend getting the coop as soon as possible. Mayonnaise is such an easy early game money source

Your farm certainly looks nicer than my did at any point in year 1, but that’s gotta be a slog playing with so few crops and no animals. A lot of the stone you used for paths could’ve gone into a coop or barn
