I know it shouldn't have taken that long but I consider myself a builder humbly using redstone circuits as decoration, to me it's by far the most complex aspect of the game but also the most satisfactory when everything works as it should. In this case I'm trying to organize the redstone circuits of my city so that it looks and can be operated like an electrical grid, which is difficult because every building has basements and deep foundations, there are underground railways and service tunnels/streets with their own grid, and a sewage systems covers the entire city. I've been building up towards the substations since 2023 with the streetlights built as a separate circuit so I could eventually build these light detectors in different spots since the city is very big, this is the second one of five that when finished will be centrally controlled from a comprehensive switchboard in a powerplant (which is now a small room with 10 switches for the whole city under a random intersection)
