Genuine question to Minecraft players: If “Mending” didn’t exist in Vanilla Minecraft JA/BE, how would you play the game? (mods are not a way out in this situation)

  1. I’d just repair tools in the anvil until the level cost was too high and then I’d make a new pickaxe, with enchants beeing from cured villagers

I use Mending because the durability system sucks in general. I don’t have to worry about my pickaxe suddenly dissapearing with my hard earned enchants on it so I’d probably enchant less often or not enchant at all.

Almost no one would use netherite unless you just happened to find a ton. The cost would just be WAY too high for a slight durability increase and mining speed when you have to do that EVERY time a tool breaks (plus re-enchanting).

  4. Gonna wait for a real person to reupload this meme with a higher quality than 36p

  5. I would trade with villagers to get my armor. I don’t enjoy losing resources so I prefer to have a form for them so I don’t have to think about it.

  6. I’d turn my resolution up. And also probably repair my tools over and over again, until a new one has to be made

    Almost nothing would change.

I don’t use villager trades, so I never really have gotten mending.

Fortunately, Behavioral Packs aren’t mods according to Mojang themselves 🙂
