  1. They can just make a limit of stacking. Not 1 effect (no stacking) but at least 3. Because surely, if they add the unnerfed whip stacking back you could just make a 200 damage blade staff

  2. I think whip stacking is completely fine because it’s high skill high reward. Maybe have each additional whip effect make the next one weaker to nerf it a little but it’s still fine keeping it anyway.

We have accesories for minions and sentries but none for whips, besides the ferral claws I guess, but there is some potential there, besides an accessory that allows you to whip stack there could also be more accesories, you could have some to add some tag effects, maybe one that makes whips tag effect last longer, an accessory that gives whips also crit strike chance for minions on whips that don't give you that, making whip range bigger, the potential is there but there is no variety in game. I agree that if whip stacking comes back it has to be reworked and nerfed, but full on removal was not the best route and made some whips just out right skipable so I like the idea.

  4. I would add it back but nerfed. Every additional whip you stack has their tag damage reduced.
    Ex: 100% tag damage -> 50% tag damage -> 25% tag damage -> 10% tag damage.
    (Cannot go below 1 so adding another whip will always add at least 1 extra tag damage)
    Also, whips with higher tag damage should obviously take priority over the first position.

  5. Instead of bringing back whipstacking,
    They should rework a bunch of items to make it so previous Summon Minions for Summoner and even previous Ammunition Types for Ranger are still viable later throughout a playthrough.

    Summoner should be incentivezed to have a variety of Minions instead of a variety of Whips.

  6. Honestly just make it a limit of 2 whips is good enough it'll balance out the damage issues about adding more whips and it'll give support whips like the durendall, snapthorn, and dark harvest their previous additional utility

  7. I don’t really see the appeal in whip stacking, since it completely destroys the balancing of the game anyways, and would only work on things like computer and maybe console, but it never worked on mobile.
