why does like nobody use block displays? they are completely vanilla and you can even use barriers for hitboxes, or a block inside them

Because its tedious and not survival friendly
I’m out of the loop. Is it a performance thing?
because If you build everything from it, you might aswell start importing models from blockbench into a resource pack. It would literally be more performance and survival friendly too lol
They are being used. But imo it, to some extent, defies the purpose of building in Minecraft, it kinda just becomes 3D modeling at this point.
I think it’s quite annoying to make them into some good looking model, I only used them for a gravestone, making a vertical stone slab
I hate the stretched/inconsistent pixel size textures it creates
It takes a lot of time, takes a lot of performance and isnt survival friendly
