I’m 28 now and I remember installing one of the first survival versions on my dad’s Dell Dimension running windows XP.
The scary part is that with optifine and low render distance the game actually ran fantastic…. on a celeron processor and 2gb of ram and no video card.

“got it working” being “plugged it in”, maybe with a vga to hdmi adapter?
