Okay now I've kept this secret from my friends for weeks now but we have this semi rp minecraft server with the Vampirism and Werewolves mod. Two days into the server I got bitten by a vampire (had Sanguine Vampiris) and I killed myself to not turn into one. 30 minutes or so later I suddenly turned into a vampire even when I didn't have the Sanguine Vampiris effect anymore.
The thing is though, while I do have the traits of a vampire (not drowning, needing to drink blood instead of eating food, can sleep in coffins, and I can see clearly in vampire fog) I can't burn in the sun. I don't have the "Sunscreen" skill at all (not to mention that skill is temporary). Since there were multiple mods (Iron's Spells n Spellbooks, Terramity, Relics, etc.) I thought maybe one of the things I was wearing was keeping me from burning but I took all of them off and I legit still couldn't burn. Since I had a purple name, and the fact that Iron Golems from my my friend's village attack me, a lot of my friends were suspecting that I was a vampire but couldn't fully prove it because I can't burn.
Does anybody know why that is or if I'm just fully bugged? My friends are also starting another Vampirism server and I sorta actually like the fact that I'm a vampire that can't burn (sorta like half human half vamp ykwim, it also makes as an interesting character for my story) so if there's a way I can try transferring this to the new server please let me know.
