There’s a handful of fruits that can do this if they’re grown in a 3×3 square. It will persist forever, even through new seasons, unless you get rid of it with an axe, at which point you’ll get a bunch of normal-quality fruits from it.

OP, you can add at least two extra rows in between both sets of sprinklers. It’s a 5×5 square. But to your original question, giant crop that sometimes happens. Cauliflower, Melon, Pumpkin, Powder Melon are the initial 4 with Qi Fruit later on being the 5th.
