It appears to be a (forget the exact name) flux rift?

There is research in thaumcraft where you throw a certain item in and it makes it smaller or closes it.

Or you can keep being wasteful with your flux and make it larger.

I think ive seen one of these in the nether once but it thinner and longer I think it was from an addon for thaumcraft though. Dont touch that thing and try to find it on the wiki first, if you have the Neat mod or something else that tells you what mod a block is from then check the infomation at a safe distance.

Figure out how you caused it in the first place and go from there

  6. It a flux rift, it appears when your cauldron from thaumcraft overflows and you evaporate it , it will cause a spike in the flux energy in that area which cause this to form it will cause some events to happend but once it collapse you will unlock the causality collapser which will help you close these rifts instantly tho it can cause a small explosion so remember to put water

I dont know the name, but its from Thaumcraft. If you dispose too much Flux (I hope thats what it’s called) in a chunk it has a chance of spawning a rift. There should be an item you can craft to close the rift.
