I love Marnie. She's so sweet and she looks so cute in her portrait, but her actual character looks like a damn garden gnome. Like, I know its hard to add that much detail into these little pixelated bodies, but damn, give the poor lady a neck ffs.

On the flip side, Emily and Caroline could use updated character portraits. Their sprites are adorable but they have the most unsettling character portraits in game. Emily’s face when she says ‘There’s something special about the farmer’ makes me feel like I should get a restraining order before she kills me.
Be neat if they had a chance to wear their swimsuit when visiting the beach, as well as a chance in the first two weeks of spring and second two weeks of fall to randomly wear their “cold weather” outfit. Would feel much more dynamic
But yes, I agree, a few characters could use a small touchup, and some could use a few extra expressions, like the Wizard
