Sweet Gem Berry Farm preparation, thoughts? (info in description for the Cash Goblins)

This will grow a total of 267 Sweet gem berries, while harvesting I will use a Qi seasoned Farmer's lunch which would roughly give 65-70% chance of Iridium quality crop with the rest being gold, so that should roughly bring in 1.11mil (185 Iridium, 70%) + 364k (81 gold,30%) totally 1.47mil every 22 days that is 67k gold per day

Note: I am currently growing 45 rare seeds at the moment, once they are ready I will convert them to 135 Rare seeds and start with the farm

    is sweet gem berry valuable? i thought the profit per day for sweet gem berries were pretty low because you have to process so much just to make the seeds again, and you cant turn the fruits into wine.

    But is that accounting for all the berries you will have to feed into the seedmakers? You’ll probably have to give up all your gold quality and a good portion of your iridium in order to replant. A single fruit should yield 1-4 seeds with also the chance to get non gem berry seeds so at least 1/4 or more of your crop won’t be eligible for sale.

    Isn’t 1.4 m what a nice wine operation makes you per week?

    It’s so sad that there’s no good alternative to wine that isn’t pigs. Everything else is even worse to set up and make less money, too 🙁

    But I like how you have specialized areas for seed production and selling. Is deluxe fertilizer actually better for profit than hyper speed grow?

    Edit: it seems hyper speed grow is better than deluxe fertilizer. Too bad, would be nice if quality stuff would be better then fast grown mass production… Wiki shows a lower % for iridium crops than you assume, if I didn’t mix up the tables

    You actually earn more total money using just hyper speed and Agriculturalist. I believe it is also 13 days growth time. Its really all about money per tile. With a high farming level you will get about 25% gold star. You use all the normal for seeds, and the remainder from silver. Keep all golds and about the same amount of silvers. Growing golds almost twice as fast just makes more money per day, even if it isnt as much per seed.

    Personally, I find that harvesting, using the seed maker, and then replanting to be too much of a hassle, I’d rather just plant ancient fruits and harvest once a week. Even starfruits would probably be better since you can just buy the seeds and they grow faster.
