Without adding a specific redstone powering feature, players could control geyser eruptions with just a piston and magma block if the eruption happens before the randomized cooldown. Alternatively, the cooldown before the first eruption could be skipped, then following cooldowns occur as normal.

So what happens then when you spam the block? If the geyser happens at the start, people could just bypass the cool down.
Im all for it, would love the control of it, but I’m not sure if that aligns with their design intentions?
