Reminds me of 1992 C64 demoscene art, limited palette and rules around how many different neighboring pixels you could use for bitmapped images led to creative shading techniques.

I already follow you for your lovely drag queen art, this one is also cool. I love the ms paint style effects, I don’t know how to describe it better but I mean that genuinely as a compliment. It’s retro nostalgic and comforting.
