I don’t know what surly is but if it’s the name of an NPC you need to search their actual name, like Andrew the Guide, Guide is the actual name of that NPC.

Have you talked with the slime at all yet? I’m pretty sure that NPCs aren’t added to the bestiary until the first time you talk to them.
