My horse is stuck:(


I accidentally placed my barn next to the water. I can’t get into the barn and the horse cannot leave. Therefore I also cannot move the barn because the horse is stuck in there. What do I do!?!? I can’t even demolish the building because the horse is stuck in there.

    Might be way too late game but get the horse whistle, call the horse, then move the building.

    About 8% of the time, I will randomly glitch through the back of the stable, sometimes while riding the horse, sometimes on foot. You might be able to find the specific conditions but you might be able to replicate that

    At this point the only thing you can do is grind until you can have the horse flute and get the horse out

    Also unmodded Switch player here. I just tried it and I can move the stable with the horse in it at Robin’s with no issues. The horse stays where the stable was in the beginning.
    Have you tried saving the game, restarting the switch and trying it again?

    Maybe you can make your farm multiplayer, temporarily add someone else to the farm, and steal their horse until you can free that horse 🙁

    Restart the game or leave the farm and go back in so it reloads, then go to Robins to try. Or go sleep and try on a new day as the game should reset itself. If you are on the same day that you placed the barn just exit the game and reload the day. If u are on pc there is an easy way to load the previous days save file.

    You can move the stable with the horse in it. I’ve done it before because I’ve made this same mistake.
