  1. What doesn’t make sense to me is that jealousy only happens by giving a gift to the same gender as your husband/wife and not if they are the opposite gender

  2. tbf with the recent price inflation of gasoline and such, it's just right to let passengers pay coz fishing doesn't always guarantee a great haul, and if you're in a town such as Stardew Valley, gas and oil would be pretty much not as accessible when the only vehicle you can use in a road is the bus to go to Zuzu City… which you still have to pay 500g for a trip so…

  3. I guess I can see the scandalous aspect of it. Not saying it'll absolutely be seen that way, but the others might see it as favoritism or impartiality

  4. I gladly pay Willy because he's awesome. Besides, even in real life it's not cheap to take a ferry. Not just anyone can have that type of boat and even docking has laws and taxes. For the same reason I don't complain about the bus fee. What I don't get is how Pam is still dirt poor and struggling while still having a stable job. She ain't paying her tab either so what gives?

  5. I mean, paying for the bus and boat do make sense. You're the only one using the bus so if you don't pay, there would be nobody to drive it. And Willy has to take time off running his shop to take you to ginger island

  6. One that’s very helpful but also doesn’t make sense…why do the mobs like pause when you are eating something?

They are like oh okay, sorry, well just stop fighting you good sir.

  7. Marnie’s an upstanding member of the community. Imagine the harm to her image if the town realizes she’s in a relationship with a corrupt politician like Lewis. That’s the logic. Marnie doesn’t care and Lewis is too full of himself to realize that everyone already knows but just don’t care.

Demetras and Robyn are always arguing because Demetras is always convinced he’s right but Robyn is smart enough to not take that crap from him.

You’re literally paying Pam/Willie to drive you round trip, waiting for you while you do whatever. 1000 is cheap. Plus, Pam was broke because she was unemployed while the bus was down. Even then, the town has good will towards her and Penny. I’m sure Willie would let them hitch a ride.

  8. I think it's obvious that Marnie and Lewis have no good reasons to hide their relationship but Lewis is gaslighting Marnie because he doesn't want to commit.

  9. I think having to pay to go to the desert on days where Pam tells me to drive myself is ASS. Still like those days since the time restriction to go to the desert is gone., BUT STILL.

  10. Actually I’m pretty sure tomatoes count as a vegetable for culinarily uses, but botanically (i.e. in plant science), it’s a fruit. So, for cooking, you wouldn’t use tomato to flavor pastries or to put in a fruit salad like you would with other fruit. But scientifically, it has seeds so it’s classified as a fruit. I’m not a botanist but I’m fairly sure ā€œvegetableā€ is entirely a culinary label for savory edible plants?

Like, i think most veggies actually count as leaves (lettuce, kale, cabbage), roots (potato, carrot, turnip) or fruits (tomato, cucumber, pumpkin). Food scientists and/or botanists feel free to correct me if I’m wrong LMAO I’m only going off Wikipedia here. But I’m PRETTY sure that’s how it works?

So yeah, culinarily speaking, tomato is a vegetable, because no one in their right mind would make a tomato flavored cake, just like no one in their right mind would make soup out of strawberries.

This is why I find the whole ā€œare tomatoes a vegetable or a fruit?ā€ argument stupid asf. Like, can’t it be both??? If you’re using it for cooking, it’s a vegetable, just like every other vegetable that’s ā€œtechnically a fruitā€. But if you’re a scientist, go ahead and call it a fruit. No regular person NEEDS to care about its scientific class.

  11. I don't understand why we need Pam if we can drive the bus ourselves. When she's busy, there's a sign next to the bus that says "go by yourself today without me." Why do we have to wait for her every time we can drive ourselves?
