There are some floors in the Skull cavern with Pepper rexes you need to slay for the monster eradication goal anyway. they drop Dinosaur eggs and bones for the Museum
Pepper Rex spawn in skull cavern sometimes there’s even a whole prehistorical floor full of them you can kill those for a dino egg
pepper rexes in the skull cavern sometimes drop them. also, you can put the dinosaur eggs in your incubator and raise your own dinosaurs. they drop more eggs every 6 days iirc
Next time you get a dinosaur egg what you should do is put it in the incubator in the coop, you will end up getting a lot more eggs in the future.
For anyone reading this: don’t donate your Dinosaur egg right away, as you are probably very far from completing the Museum collection. Put it in the incubator (you can get it after you upgrade the coop) and you will have an unlimited source of Dino eggs from that point on, as you will hatch your own Dino.
The advice that everyone else gave you is correct! Pepper rexes are the way but it takes a while to find them.
Others are correct but also you have two options for filling that slot. You don’t need both the Dino mayo and the ancient fruit

The easiest and fastest way is to go to the skull cavern and kill pepper rexes or find one on the ground on the dinosaur floor. However if you are not confident in fighting in the skull cavern, you can also find them in fishing treasure and in artifact spots in the mount and quarry, although these are rarer. If you have enough artifact totems you can spam the mountains with them until you find one.
Ancient fruit will be easier to obtain, I grow them year round in greenhouse getting 5 gold star didn’t take long
I usually get my first one out of treasure chests fishing.
