I started learning Minecraft modding while on paternity leave for my first child and ended up building a client-side immersive camera system for containers and workstations.

Immersive Chests dynamically repositions the camera relative to the block you are interacting with, supporting directional views, orientation-aware positioning, and generic support for many modded container/workstation blocks automatically.
