I think that mage ranking comes down to whether you think having a good main magic weapon is better (spirit flame) or whether having a good mage crowd control option that you can just place down is better (clinger staff)
I love the spirit flame, but the clinger staff is definitely easier to get and potentially more versatile, so maybe I would agree with that ranking, although the spirit flame does have splash damage so maybe it's just as useful for crowds… (medusa head slander WILL be tolerated though)

On the hardmode mage I was thinking when clinger staff came up "I'd prob put this at #5, almost any other weapon that actually can be used as a primary would be better. If rainbow rod/cursed flames/golden shower/venom staff turn up it would suck to put them at the bottom" I would've been COOKED putting medusa head at the top lmao 😭😭😭😭
I think the magic weapon ranking was basically perfect though. I'd put spirit flame at 1, and MAYBE swap blood thorn and rainbow gun, but idk the list you got is defo good enough
also "you'd put torch below mining helment" absolutely?? you can loads of torches pretty easily, mining helmet is really important for the mining set bonus.

I dont get the purpose of the points, especially when theres no real framework for what actually gives a point or not
next time you do it your actually blindfolded and you use facecams to prove it
