This is a cool little detail that I came up with for a room that I was struggling with – the big windows mean the interior is really visible from some angles, but I was struggling to think of what to put there, since it’s basically the space *above* a clothing store (which contains the output for my wool farm), and eventually I decided on a photography studio, since that seems like something a clothier might have as a side hustle in the 19th century.
The camera lens is achieved using an armour stand wearing a skeleton skull. It’s clipped into the lectern using a dispenser, and aligned at the bottom using a conduit (which also provides some hidden lighting). It’s then aligned horizontally by removing the floor under the trapdoor, and pushing the armour stand into a honey block or chest.
Once the armour stand is in place, you can push the composter and floor into place from above to avoid disturbing the alignment, and then finish off by placing the trapdoor..
