so as you can see from the photo, i've been working towards perfection for a while now and i'm really close to getting there! all i need is the golden clock (which is taking longer than expected i will admit 😭) and those last 5 golden walnuts. the issue is i have absolutely no idea where to get those last 5. i've watched guides on where they all are and i've done every quest and unlock needed to get them. i thought the last 5 would either be hidden behind fishing or rock breaking but i've been fishing and breaking rocks and blowing up the dig site for an entire season and i haven't gotten a single one.
is there a way to check where they are? like a website i could put my world into or something? i don't want to pay for the last 5 with the joja parrot cause that would feel like cheating and everything up till now i've grinded my ass off for 🥲. please help me i'm so close but so far 😭

Does the parrot in the kids hut not give you a hint? At that point he should narrow it down at least.
Have you gotten everything from Professor Snail? Double check to make sure.
At that point I’d probably Joja bird the last five walnuts, it’s going to be peanuts. However getting that golden clock is going to be a lot of money grinding.

On console & I ended purchasing the last few golden walnuts and was filled with guilt as soon as I hit yes. I know the parrot gives advice but I just couldn’t find them!
Did you explore the Cove at different times?
The best way to check walnut locations is with the wiki. I originally had some other site but it wasn’t as good
I use this site to help track my perfection, it’ll tell you exactly what walnuts you’re missing too! I don’t think I could do perfection without it. It has direct links to the wiki too.

This always happens on my farms, too. I would recommend watching a YouTube tutorial that walks you through every single golden walnut. It works every time.
There’s a tree to the right of the volcano and with a slingshot u may find what u r looking for. I hated that one

The parrot in Leo’s house should give you hints, otherwise, because you’re missing 5 I’d think your missing one of the larger ones, the banana gorilla, or Simon says or the gem birds or something?
Did you play the pirate dart game multiple times?
You mention doing every quest, the fishing and the rocks but did you get the 5 random ones you get for farming on the island? Like most people have said if you go to the bird in Leo’s house he’ll give you hints on most of them but iirc it’s only one hint per day so if you find the one he hinted to you’ll have to sleep to get a hint on the next, etc.
Have you done the mermaid thing?
There are some walnut you dont get parrot hints for. The ones I remember are 3 for winning at darts 3 times (1 per round) and 3 for offering a banana to the jungle shrine.
im guessing you’re missing the mermaid puzzle ones, since i was also recently in your position of 125/130 walnuts.
If you don’t know what i mean by mermaid puzzle, look up the wiki page for golden walnuts and head to the “ginger island south” section

yeah, i found all but 2 walnuts, and ended up paying the jojabird. no ragrets! golden clock takes some grinding, but hopefully you have a good ancient fruit wine scheme up and running
If you’re playing on pc and are able to play with mods, there’s one called stardew tracker that tells you pretty much everything you need to do for perfection, including the walnuts
If not then talk to the parrot, there’s three locations that it doesn’t tell you, which I honestly can’t remember off the top of my head, but if it’s not telling you where and you have more it’ll be one of those three (I believe the darts game is one of them? Can’t remember the other two :’) )

Mermaid gives 5
Talk to the parrot in Leo’s treehouse. Once per day it will tell you where a Golden Walnut is. It will give you an area, and the action needed to get it (buried in the North, in the water of the South, etc.) Otherwise your only option is to pay the Joja Bird for the last 5.
I recently learned you can use /recountnuts even on switch and on my most recent save it said i was missing 6, but after doing recount nuts i had them all!

Have you also cracked open golden coconuts? (At least 1) and gotten them from the volcanoe mines?
Did you do the mermaid flute block puzzle on the area outside the pirate’s cove? I think that gives 5 walnuts and is incredibly annoying to do. Also the parrot in Leo’s hut gives hints.
