tl;dr does anyone else on PS5 keep getting the same two fairy trinkets over and over again and is there anything I can do about it?
First of all, I genuinely love Stardew. I have around 1200 hours in the game at this point. But ever since 1.6 dropped, I honestly struggle to fully enjoy it or commit to a perfection farm for one really stupid reason…
I LOVE the new trinkets, especially the fairy. Since I spend half my life in Skull Cavern anyway she’s perfect for me. The problem is that across 8 solo farms and 4 multiplayer farms with a friend, we keep getting the EXACT same two fairies every. single. time. Always the purple dress ones. The only ones I don’t like at all 🥲
I kept starting new farms thinking surely the game would eventually give me something different, but nope. In TWO separate new farms, my friend and I both got the SAME purple fairy again. Twice. I’m actually losing my mind over this at this point.😭
I know this sounds ridiculous, but I genuinely can’t stand looking at them anymore and it completely kills my motivation to continue the farm. I just want some variety. Give me the cute Tinkerbell looking fairy, the goth fairy, literally anything that isn’t purple. Please.
Has anyone else had this happen on PS5 specifically? I even tried making my characters completely different every time to maybe change the player ID or RNG somehow, but nothing helps.
@ConcernedApe PLEASE let us reroll fairies somehow. I am begging 😭

i’m cursed with a VISIBLE fairy. i love the effect but hate that sprite flying and bouncing around constantly. i accidentally walk into a heart event cutscene that is supposed to be sweet and there is this dumb fairy hovering around my face the whole time…
i wish they could be made invisible or less visually distracting.
but aside from that i did luck out with the blue one with pink wings (on PC)
iirc the color is seeded 😅 although im not sure if you get another fairy box and use that one, will the color change?
You can reroll fairies though. And at least for me on Switch, the fairy also changes color along with stats (Fairy Box 1-5).
I won’t write how you reforge unless you want the info– just ask. Some people want to discover on their own.
I did not know they were different colors! The frogs say what color they are so that was obvious, now I gotta see ahat color my fairy is
Does the color change accordingly to their level or the color is random? I never knew there were different fairies. I’ve only gotten one level 2 fairy trinket so far and the three times I tried to reroll it, I ended up with the same level 2
Not being able to change to color of the fairy is so minor but it sucks so bad.
I didn’t know there were multiple. I’ve only ever gotten purple I think.

Have you bother to reroll with the Anvil? That would my first thing to do
