Hear me out. I swear whenever I look at bedrock, especially a lot of it together, I can taste it and feel the texture in my mouth and it tastes/feels absolutely disgusting. Like I wanna scrape it off my tongue with sandpaper and rinse out my mouth multiple times. It tastes like coal or something and feels all dry and gritty in texture. And it sounds awful to break it as well, and I don't mean how it actually sounds in creative, but in my head it's like this horrible crunchy nails-on-a-blackboard type sound.

I don't know where I'm getting these ideas from, I don't know if there was something I heard about it that I've forgotten about that's making me think of it like this, or if it's just the way it looks, but I genuinely can't stand looking at it it makes me wanna shudder. I never have any kind of synethsesia-type stuff with anything else, it's literally just the bedrock block in Minecraft. But anyway please tell me I'm not the only one 😭

To me it seems like it would just kinda taste like a rough kinda slate. Not particularly good at all.

You can get a texture pack to make the Bedrock texture different.

And also, dont go to the Nether roof until you have that texture pack 😅

  4. Was about to say, “that sounds like synaesthesia!” and then I got to the end of the post x)

I don’t get that personally but I think it’d taste like chalk smells.

  5. Its got that mature dark taste. Not for everyone. Kind of like dark chocolate

  6. i’ve literally never thought about the blocks in this way. but if i had to understand what you meant, would it involve the feeling of biting on grains of sand? like tiny, rough particulates that you only notice are in your mouth when you crush or grind them when you bring your teeth together?

I think the texture would be crunchy like broken glass, and a sour taste that would make you want to spit it out.
