this is at a steady 30 fps in deriative shaders in film mode with sodium & iris in fabric modloader at the lastest ver. i feel very proud of myself to take this old but gold laptop to its limits, i really did get the best of it, even though im getting a real pc for christmas. any tips for optimizing/upgrading minecraft java?

GTX 1050 is from 2016 and the CPU from 2017 so hardly 11 year old laptop.
I have an M4 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM that came out in 2024 and I get basically the same performance as this with shaders lol, I go on YouTube and find other Mac users getting great performance yet mine struggles and goes the temperature of the sun the moment I turn a shader on.
i had a similar thought when i first saw the end dimension, felt like another world entirely
