This design evenly distributes [x] amount of fuel and [x] amount of smeltable items into [x] amount of furnaces/smokers/blast-furnaces up to a limit of 319 items per cycle. In red we have the item distributor while in blue we have the hopper clocks. The clocks need to contain [x] +1 items you want distributed.
Example: If you have 3 furnaces in the array you have to fill the clock on the left with 4 filler items. If you want to smelt using coal which smelts 8 items you have to fill the clock on the right with 9 filler items.
Items are distributed on both sides by sending a pulse into the note block in the middle. Enjoy!

You can remove the torches and just use a single torch for each side by locking the hoppers with redstone dust. Check my YouTube video on cartless distro if you are into this kind of distro.
