I used to play a lot of Stardew Valley before, but then i quit. And now, im suddenly interested in playing the game again. But i don‘t remember anything from the game: What my objective in the game was, if i had enough money, what crops i need to plant, how to navigate the mines, what relationships i wanted to strenghten, etc. It‘s all just so much information i need to remember, its scary. Is there any good way to get back into the game without overwhelming myself? Thanks beforehand!

I’d suggest starting a new farm so you can start from scratch and go from there
Start a new farm and think of it as a toy and not a responsibility.
I’m in the same boat as you at the moment, granted its only been a few weeks while I had exams, but it’s quite daunting to go back, especially knowing you HAD important plans but can’t remember what they are.
I guess we just need to jump back in and not worry about messing up our past goals
just start fresh and do whatever sounds fun. no wiki, no min-maxing, no pressure. you fell in love with this game once by not knowing what you were doing. do that again.
i usually just start a new farm. we don’t talk about my 10 save files I haven’t touched in years
I found watching YouTube streamers really rekindled my love of the game after time away. If you look up what year and month you’re in you can find some videos of people in a similar spot and play along with them. This can help remind you of what’s going on/what you might like to work towards. If where they are is too overwhelming/hard to compare yourself to then try going to videos earlier in their playthrough. There’s also a big difference between the progress of first-time players or experienced players so keep that in mind when searching!

you don’t have to remember everything, the stardew wiki is always there for you
I’m on year 8 and I still google some things I used to google on year 1 so don’t worry
If you do reload an old save, I suggest you check birthdays early on your first day back!
