Saw some fiddlehead ferns at my local co-op. Glad I looked up how to cook them, since they contain some toxins raw. They taste even milder than a green bean, served up with some spicy ramen.

Intructions: clean any fuzz or brown parts, boil in salt water 10-15 minutes, strain and pan fry for a few minutes.

    Idk if you prepared these properly, you cleaned out the entire center of each fiddlehead? It could be that fiddleheads in my area could look a little different as well I am in New England.

    I didn’t do anything to them after bringing them home from the store! I’m in the PNW, I think they are technically Ostrich Ferns
