Do you have foraging mastery? Maybe try out some treasure totems in the mountains. Normally I just go for artifact troves, but it my last save I decided to use treasure totems and got my last two artifacts right away

I had so many of these that I used some for decoration and threw some in the bone mill

I always find this and the ceramic vase and ancient dagger the very last late in the game while digging. I would just kill ghosts and mines those omni geodes keep going for the troves you got this!

theres always ONE item thats incredibly hard to get!!! literally every playthru, one item is absurdly hard to get

Side note: if you use your treasure totems in the quarry does it counts as being in The Mountain? I’m assuming so but I never tried.
I hate that there is always 1-2 things that are impossible to find. In my current save I already have the dinosaur egg and ancient seed in spring year 1 so I probably won’t find Dwarf scroll 4 for 3 years

If you are on pc at this time I would look in the save game analyser tool to find the number of artifact troves you need. Since any geode advances the number farming it becomes a numbers game

I didnt even realise this was rare 😭 i cant even remember how i got mine i think it was in a fishing treasure chest
