Sadly then they’ll invent more stupid ways to age verify, like credit card “we charge you one cent then give it back but need you to tell us the code for the charge” BS, cause then actual kids will end up using their grandparents ID, then when kids start using their parents credit cards for the charge back they’ll do more stupid shit to try and age verify, easiest solution that I keep telling people is “if you raise your kids on the internet you are accepting the risks involved, because the internet is not made for kids”, I usually get back the whole “but your generation was raised on the internet? And look at you” like, ah yes, look at the most sewer slide-al, jaded, mentally ill, hypers**ual generation (a fair bit of which, btw, is caused by them being raised on the internet) and say they’ve fine. Yeah. Ok. Sure.
