Need help! Hidden Enchanting Table mechanism from 2024 not working in version 26.1.2

Hi everyone,

I'm relatively new to advanced redstone, and I’ve been trying to build a hidden enchanting table. After watching dozens of tutorials, I finally found one that perfectly fits what I want.

I followed the video step-by-step and double-checked every single repeater, observer, and dust placement. However, when I try to activate it, it just doesn't work properly. I tried troubleshooting it myself, but my redstone knowledge is quite limited and I couldn't find the issue.

Since the video is almost 2 years old, I’m wondering if some mechanic or component behavior changed between version 1.21 and the current version 26.1.2 that might be breaking the build, or if I simply messed up somewhere.
