    Emily was my first when I didn’t know what I was doing. Initially I was going for Hayley but then was put off by her personality. It mostly boiled down to “who is the easiest to give gifts to?”, and I married in Year 1. Bad choice considering I would later try to see the heart events of all characters which led to Emily constantly accusing me of cheating. Never again; I would only marry once I’ve given bouquets to everyone and unlock all their hearts instead (usually by Year 2’s summer).

    I think it was Leah, maybe Harvey (it was a longggg time ago). Now I’m a hardcore Penny fan.

    Abigail was my first. She looks like the thickest one which is my type, and then her two heart scene being playing video games just sealed the deal for me. Hailey was my first girlfriend but we just didn’t vibe (as much as you can vibe with a video game character that only has a set amount of dialogue)

    I started with Emily because dress, and blu hair. But it was kinda disappointing to see her portrait being wildly different from her sprite. I’m aiming for Abigail now because… Porpol hair.

    Leah. I like her but I don’t think I’ll be doing it again as a lot of her lines fed into my rampant existential dread

    Mine was Haley, I talked to her, she was immediately a dick to me, and I decided then and there “Oh.. I am going to ruin this bitches life. I cannot wait to make you miserable.” And now she’s my go-too.
    tbf I do like how she changes, and you learn more about here, and a lot of her heart events are pretty cute, but yeah, I enjoy moving her out there knowing the girl I met day 1 would have hated it.

    First it was Maru, because nerdy mocha nurses are *hot.*

    Then it was Leah, because artsy redheads are *hot.*

    Now it’s gunna be Penny, because depressed bookworms are *hot*^(and you know she’s gotta be a freak in the sack)

    First was Shane, second Emily (loml and the farm I have the most hours on), newest play through is Seb and I just started a co op farm with my sibling and I plan to romance Elliot :p

    Technically Elliott. Made a save for Shane, then another for Elliott. When I was getting both characters ready to get married the update that included getting caught at the saloon/Haley’s house dropped. And I was very curious. So Shane’s nuptials were put on hold 🤭

    But only so I could get the tavern upgrade. Then I divorced him.

    Then Sam…
    So I could get the boombox.

    I’m internally debating marrying Emily for the clothes now.

    I actually recently started playing the game, and accidentally married Alex on Hayleys birthday which I thought was funny.
