I have tried like 4-5 times and went all the way to beat celestial stars again, and yet i still lose, so i just ignored it and built this castle. Is it a problem of gear or working more on the arena?

What armor do you have? I’d recommend beetle or a mix with Valhalla knight armor (purchased from tavernkeep) for health regen. Also try to get a mount with infinite flight or good wings and use buff potions! If you’re struggling with dodging I’d recommend defensive accessories reforged to warding. Master ninja gear is good for the dash and dodge chance, frozen shield is great for general defense and a good offensive accessory is the fire gauntlet.
I used the day breaker melee weapon from the solar pillars to kill the moon lord. I also used campfires and heart lamps everywhere during the moon lord fight. I would go back and forth with honey as well. Gotta keep your health up always and avoid those lasers. You should be fine
You really need that full HP too. You got this
