essential mod is basically someone took a game and added so many cosmetics to it because they could do that with online playing. after friend lists and e4mc it is so useless

I didn’t know about the other mods so I used it. It worked alright. Still, for a mod that doesn’t (AFAIK) run or host the server you’re in, it sure is askin for a lot of money. It’s basically Bedrock market but for Java.

I always hate having to play with the essential mod. I’m definitely one of the people in the camp of it violating Minecraft’s EULA about profiting from the game. Some people disagree but that’s my opinion.

This is why it’s bloatware. It only adds things you don’t want. There is a simple fix though, remove it.

I have created a mod called Essential patcher, it’s not released but makes everything free, removes all advertisement literally from the whole mod. And cosmetics sync between players. It uses a server i coded to sync stuff together but i got nobody to test it with. So that’s why it never released

Best part is, at this point the mod is gonna become useless in an update or two thanks to Mojang FINALLY adding the option to host your local world as a server without any extra steps
