It sucks that we have to wait, at the earliest, until the release of the Autumn Drop, which is in late September by the way, to get peer-to-peer. It’s better that they decided to delay it if it has a lot of problems, but I feel like this could have been avoided entirely if they had planned to release it in the next drop instead of dropping it out of nowhere near the end of this drop’s development cycle. It generated a lot of hype in the community, only for it to be removed two weeks later because of problems.

The god damn privacy toggle was unfathomably broken, both on xbox site and in game. It caused every problem me and my friend encountered. Other than that we had zero problems.

This was entirely expected.
Introducing such a revolutionary feature mid-development risks either delaying the release or pushing the feature itself to the next update.
And Mojang chose the latter, as always.

Can you still do it on the old snapshot?

So even on the old snapshot (8) I cant use the multiplayer feature anymore? Or is it just in the latest snapshot because it wont let us join eachother’s worlds and we are both in snapshot 8.

Could you use it in the snapshots? If so then you can just play on the last snapshot if there isn’t any big bugs
