my favorite part about terraria is that every playthrough is different. every time i play i either find out something i didnt know before, or my run takes an unexpected turn and i get a really rare weapon right off the bat. its a masterpiece, always has been and always will be.
My favorite part are the small details. I once happy cried over 30 naturally spawning dragonflies and all the different colors they were. Finding out that there were lava lamps, mini volcanoes as well as hanging plants just made my heart sing. I love the little pets you can get and the fact that you can dye them to match yourself! I love that you can get town pets and town slimes it makes the game feel so much more alive. The variety in the mobs and what they look like makes the game so much more interesting. I’ve been playing this game since ocram was the final boss and the fact that I can come back and always learn something new makes it addictive. I also really love the lore of the game and how deeply interwoven it is to the gameplay.
because it was 2d id thought it would lack in building compared to mincraft but no there is an insane amount of building blocks there are even toilets and walls ,and the bosses are amazing too
All of that you said + how easy it is to mod the game through the workshop and how many quality mods there are. The way the devs are dealing with the 1.4.5 patches by listening to the community and adding so many things we wanted for a long time is also amazing

I agree on Bosses and Weapons
