See, I have Sunfury and Blue Moon. Somehow they work together. My sunfury is in hotbar, while blue moon is somewhere on the bottom of inventory. I play absolutely vanilla terraria and don't have any hardmode thingy that could cause it. Anyway, I'd like to move on to dao of pow, and, if it's possible, use it with my sunfury. Is it just a bug or is it really possible to use two maces?

Congratulations, you discovered a new 1.4.5 feature! Flail dual wielding! Unfortunately this only works for the Sunfury and Blue Moon. Maybe in a future update …
The reason is that the Blue Moon and Sunfury are both normal flails with nothing special about them … except that the Sunfury does more damage. And they’re obtained at the same stage of the game. So, before 1.4.5, there was literally no point in using the Blue Moon, ever. So that’s why they added flailstacking!
it’s actually a synergy between those 2 maces specifically, it’s intentional
i think it might be a reference to something but i genuinely don’t know. they might’ve just added it because it would be cool.
