Medium core makes you want to permadeath. I cant beat hardmode with it on its super annoying.
Terraria mediumcore is practically hell. I made setups for death at hardmode. Now i am beating Terraria master mode get fixed boi (preparing to Wall of flesh) i just wanna die

Dying at night when your house is a little bit away from spawn is the worst feeling ever. Zombies and demon eyes spawn in and get you in a death loop. Then you accidentally create a cemetery 💀

Hardcore is like ripping the bandaid off in one, fast motion: hurts like hell, but only lasts for a few second.
Mediumcore is like peeling the bandaid off as slowly and painfully as possible, making sure that it lasts.

I played on mediumcore with a friend we died a few times and retreated our stuff easily.we were at the point to kill the wall of flesh and we died of fall damage in the underground and never successfully retreated our mighty stuff 🙁 do you have any techniques to retreat your stuff when you have practically nothing ?

Normally tried hardcore and got until before skeletron until dying to some regular enemy in the aether while shimmering my accessories, I think mediumcore would be a nice try before retrying hardcore again..

6:17 In Terraria, even though it's 2D, "don't dig straight down" kinda still applies, but it is about enemies dropping on your from above, not about lava…

i got well over 1000 hours in terraria + tmod, and i see mediumcore as terraria's purgatory
I played this on mediumcore all the way to pumpkin moon several years back. I have no clue how I slogged through all that pain, being an adult and the pain it’d be to travel each time you die sounds so torturous now.
