Presenting FactoryWorks, a modular tech mod suite for Minecraft 26.1.2 (NeoForge), heavily inspired by Factorio.

Ore patches that last hours, conveyor belts, power poles with wireless machine powering, modular armor, endgame resource sink, it's all there and there's more to discover.

You start by harvesting ores and crude oil with Fieldworks, transport them with belts from Beltworks and pipes from Pipeworks to your megabase factory made up of refiners and assemblers from Craftworks, powered by Wireworks generators and through distribution and transmission power poles.

Before automation you can hand-craft with a click thanks to Craftworks' personal assembler which replaces the 2×2 inventory grid and the crafting table.

Once you have ingots for days, Voidworks allows spending them to harvest void motes and produce void energy to transmute and decompose resources and items.

If you like exploring, with Gearworks you can wear a suit of modular armor with speed, jump and in the end a creative flight upgrade… I warn you it's not cheap…

Groundworks adds ghost-preview block placement like Factorio, Satisfactory or Create and it works with all vanilla blocks.

Vanilla progression is still there and you can even have a fleet of void dragons to transport void energy and items between your nether, overworld and end factories.

Each mod is playable standalone and can be integrated in any modpack, but the suite really shines and it's been built to be played as a whole. The FactoryWorks showcase modpack is available on CurseForge with all the -works mods and a curated list of third party mods (FTB Industrial Contraptions, Functional Storage, Just Dire Things, Refined Storage, Sophisticated Backpacks) for a classic modded Minecraft experience.

I've been playing for a couple of hours just to set up a small coal, iron and copper factory which is self-sufficient (until ore patches are depleted) and having a blast so far!

Let me know what you think about it, I'm curious!

P.S. You were right to call me out on the AI-written text of my early teaser a few weeks ago. This time I wrote the text post myself, quirks and long paragraphs included. And… the answer to the AI question is still yes, but the result and the source code are there for you to judge.
