I think Terraria players often speed run the game to Moonlord and never take their time on their worlds. I want to change that. So, over the course of a year I will be playing on this world with each stage of progression being blocked until the start of a new month. Listed below are the progression locks I’ll be facing on this journey and come next December we’ll finally defeat Moonlord!

In regards to the walls in the dungeon, you have to be in the same space as the walls in order for them to spawn.

Also for the martians u could have thrown away all the weapons from the event away but dealt with the event whenever it(accidentally) spawned
Also how annoying was it to edit the smoke whenever u said cloud
Also Betsy wings are sooooo much better than fishron wings when paired with soaring insignia

The jack o lantern launcher is actually amazing for some occasions. Yes you can buy the ammo if you have the weapon in your inventory. If you get the weapon before doing the golem it's very good for it or just to keep farming the pumpkin moon
I started a One-Year One-World playthrough myself with the same limitations in June, but OneDrive deleted my files when I booted up my laptop 😔

I'm kind of preparing to do something similar to this myself, but that's more because I'm stupid and I want to try doing Infernum, Iron Heart, Defiled Rune, Armorless, and it's going to take me forever. But I do have a lot of ideas to truly make it a world I can remember. For both builds, and one out-of-game thing that I have an idea for. But for now, I'm busy doing some other things, but I'll get to starting eventually.
Also, btw martians spawn after Golem is defeated, in case you haven't looked it up already.

I don't think the cursed walls are new, but I do think they're newly obtainable with shimmer. So you could make the walls before, but they wouldn't cause enemies to spawn like they would if the generated naturally
A tip for farming events, make a Arena surrounded by lava, and have a small platform where enemies will only spawn. So not only will that condense the enemy's you need to kill, it will hurt and hill any enemy or boss that isn't on that platform, making things go much faster
