Idk if how many people know this due to when i discovered it, it was like a few years ago.
Exiting the boundry of your house has a use, same for any and all of your buildings. (Call it a double edged sword use though) your home once it has a kitchen you can place the minifridge on the top part of the wall tile from out of bounds. It will look janky and once a fridge (or any item) is placed there is no way (tmk) to reclaim said item, although it can still be interacted with just move your cursor (cosole players use right analog for cursor) over the item when next to it to use it. I suggest fridges for more fridge space and the fact is doesn't matter what place the minifridge is at, itll still tie into the cooking as normal. I also suggest this top wall placement for the jukeboxes, enjoy your choice of music without it taking up floor space, or if you play with friends they'll have to go the extra effort to change your music rather than easy access for them. It does take up a wall tile so less wall decorations. ALSO do not do this until youre on the house upgrade that gives you the room behind the kitchen. If you do, youll lose access to those things you placed because that room will block you from getting there.

You can use deluxe retaining soil for the fairy rose so you can fully cover the rose so you don't harvest the rose
