The vital crystal doesn’t technically boost life regen in the same way other things do but instead increases the rate at which life regen ramps up
The life crystal doesn't boost your health Regen, it boost the ramp up speed of your health Regen. You'll still Regen health at the same rate, it'll just start regening 20% faster.

If your world spawned with titanium but you want adamntite, throwing titanium into shimmer will give you adamantite, HOWEVER this does not work the other way around.
If your world has adamantite and you want titanium, you need to throw in chlorofite instead
