Bat and I think I’ve decided what I would like to do um as far as our you know early hard mode plan I want to get the flower of frost use that to kill probably the Twins and then get the mushroom Spear and I think use the mushroom spear dirt

Rod I don’t know if the dirt Rod is forgettable cuz the dryad sells it and you see it all the time I just never use It but regardless I want to get the flower of frost that is definitely something I want to do uh and I would like to get hard mode ores to get better armor so didn’t say mushroom spear is that forgettable you always see it there’s a degree of subjectivity but I think it’s

Pretty damn forgettable I like never get a truffle to begin with um and if I do get a truffle I’m uh not going to pay attention to uh like I’m going to buy the auto hammer once and then never talk to him again but you know we don’t have to it’s just

One of the options um we could also potentially go for like uh a ghastly glaive um if that is piercing or one of the other like ogre drops after we kill a Mech boss uh but we need to kill a Mech boss and I’m going to use a flower Fross

In order to do that um which means we have to go back snow biome and just mine around down there uh so I’m going to get mining potions uh beam sword Gastly I don’t know what the Gastly glaive does I’m not going to lie I have absolutely no idea what that weapon

Does I it’s a glaive so I assume it’s a melee weapon but I I have no idea I have never used or ever seen anyone use that weapon I mean beam sword is forgettable but like we already have the hand bat and the beam sword would follow would

Fit in the exact same category as the hbat except it’s worse than the hbat and I it’s just these are the retired weapons by the way the things that we used for a bit um or the Break Blade shouldn’t be in here uh I also don’t think they’re all in here

We’re missing a couple but okay I’m going to keep the PO wood po still cuz we have the coast arrows I’m going to retire with the chain knife flame flamethrower is not forgettable at all flame throw is really good after the rework uh and flower Frost is much more

Forgettable than the ice bow and the ice bow is also really bad now flamethrower is great sell you sell you okay I want potions Hunter potions probably helpful we finding the ice mimics which I should actually take these battle potions okay uh I’m going to reforge my padium

Pickaxe to have a faster mining speed and then we’ll head off know a major option the crystal vile sh the flower of frost is like second maybe only to the Medusa head in terms of forgetten um and I just rather use the flower of frost because I

Used the head recently during Dance Pad like the crystal vile Shard you’re going to like if you go for a stormbow or the flying knife you’re going to get Crystal vile Shard you’re going to see it um it’s not really that forgettable have you heard of the DP

Spent an hour of farming for it light disc no I don’t think light discs are forgettable I think it’s 15 more than 16 jeez must be 18 then oh gold bunny oh okay gold bunny dead please don’t kill my NPCs I kind of need them D kpp is D kppu is not

Room problem is it’s just really difficult to uh hit things with a hamat without getting hit myself honestly faster that to die and come back here than it would have been to try to deal with those icle no I don’t think icle is particularly forgettable in

Flail the Dow of power I don’t think the da of power is forgettable I don’t know what world the Dow of power is more forgettable than the mushroom spear Sergeant United Shield I don’t think the sergeant United Shield is very forgettable wasp gun I do like the WASP

Gun okay 18 for the pickaxe nasty have a speed buff yeah it does these rotten eggs it’s not Halloween I can’t really get rotten eggs Moun speed still not great but it’s better no Canan Beetle huh okay Ice Mimic where we at oh there you go it’s roughly a one and three drop

From ice mimics so hopefully it shouldn’t take too long to get that’s another Frost brand Stinger like I said I I’m really not another ice mic immediately uh thinking too far ahead we’ll we’ll figure it out when we get there there we go there’s a flower Frost that was

Descriptive I don’t really remember Isaac rebirth that well um it’s been a long time and I didn’t remember the DLC feeling particularly notable um like most of my experience was in base game rebirth and then um yeah okay fck that total I guess Venus Venom Magnus is Venus mag is not

Uh it was a game that I had fun playing us ago but I don’t want to go back and Play played any of the Dragon Age games no I haven’t all I think I have like a thousand hours between rebirth and the original Isaac combined um where I think most of that time being in the original Isaac I think it was probably like maybe like 500 400 or like 400 300

Um and I I I just don’t feel like playing more I honestly I just think other Rogue like games or Rogue like games are more fun I fly complete both games the base games yes and the DL I 100% in atonal mode in original Isaac when the atonal

Update came out um I don’t think I I don’t remember how far I got we both through the DLCs I don’t even know if I honestly did very much in the first DLC it’s a pretty Niche weapon called the teror blade okay um yeah like I just I think other Rog

Likee and Rog like games are more fun um Nuclear Throne or Rogue like I didn’t actually play Nuclear Throne um I’ve watched people play it but I I don’t actually know a huge amount about it and from what I remember it would get like updates and rework how

Things worked a lot um and I don’t know if the Nuclear Throne that I saw people play was really accurate to what the game is is like anymore yeah I think Isaac is a classic but I don’t think Isaac is like a super amazing uh Rogue

Light so in the end does it actually rain and risk of rain uh the risk of rain is uh metaphorical because there’s like a ship that broke up in the atmosphere and the debris raining down is the the rain constant risk of death I heard that

Horseshoe I name the meat thing the hambat it’s called the hambat yeah I’ll see about just popping gravitation potion for the twins first um and depending on how that goes I’ll uh might need to come back with actual wings but oh interesting this is uh that

Wi uh I’m going to deal with this thing I don’t really have piercing weapons I can just flow fire it deff’s pretty solid CH bonus isable actually let me hit the ground so that when it yeah there we go when it flies into the ground it’ll uh hit the balls bouncing

It deals a a DOT which is really good against worm type enemies no I get everything I needed first try there there was a star Fury though I don’t need a star Fury I want a horseshoe so I don’t take falling damage Minore is a very unique hey style

It is challenging even on easier difficulty claim medium X mode probably the same amount of challenge as Master mode what okay it was windy day music that was fading out into space music there was a hor you you too uh I kind of want to kill another

Won I have my water candles on me yeah I do spawn steio is your favorite type of torch over 3,000 hours you never get a medium for a play through I mean it’s not for everyone um I just think that it gets an unnecessary amount of hatred um

There the main reason I made a video on it honestly flower fires all way N I don’t think the orang zaap is very forgettable it’s a super unique and Mimi Weapon It’s just Rare okay uh well I I could get a pair of wings uh yeah I mean I could I could get a p coins go for though it’s not raining I have some pixie dust maybe I’ll just go kill some Pixies um get some pixie dust give me some battle potion oh what

Am I missing death weed okay well I’ll just take the water candle then CU we’re at like 20 something pi D now is Crystal Storm forgettable enough no I don’t think the Crystal Storm legally forgettable I’ll see if I can get the I’ll get wings for the twins cuz we have

Buffed a few times in a couple different updates um so it might perform surprisingly well uh we’ll have to see but it is a little tricky to aim but it’s got potential It does inflict Frost fight which is pretty cool exotic simitar I mean the problem is we’re in hard mode like if I were to get the Exotic citar it would be completely 100% useless at this point un ironically resident SE I maybe I could see it being an option

Pirate staff I don’t want to FR Pirates who would have thought I would use magic weapons off in these last few playthroughs uh was I did it before this dance pad on this one I think it uh is a good indicator of how little I uh think about

Magic weapons that I consider a lot of magic weapons forgettable this you remember there’s a mimic somewhere over here maybe he’s over here no he’s like under the ground Here yeah in there there is okay philosopher stone psychon knife forgotten yeah why did that not lances lances are not forgettable at all get the ice staff from The Wizard the ice rod I don’t think that’s particularly forgettable I no the flower of frost is way more obscure of

A uh magic weapon than those I feel like it’s not about them being good or bad it’s about them being forgettable and Lancers are pretty well known for their meme onot Potential magic hope nah I don’t think that H’s particularly forgettable I don’t think gang is forgettable I mean one of the most popular Terraria YouTubers is name is literally Gung all right by virtue of That yeah princess is a child so she leaves she doesn’t die will TR add a reference to SEO in MC I don’t know what that is what do you mean what I I don’t know what that is I want to say it louder I don’t know what that

Is no ruler we are in hard mode there they arguably one of the most popular TR YouTubers oh you made the mistake of thinking that I actually watch YouTubers I don’t I don’t really watch YouTube oh actually that’s a really need wings at all if we have a uniform I wonder if I Could that work doesn’t watch YouTubers yesterday talks about Socrates for like a minute straight I don’t think any of what I said had any amount of I actually know anything about socrates’s content it was acknowledging that other people kept mentioning all the time because other people kept bringing

Up that like Socrates kept making videos about how like oh the weapon that I was using was good or you know people knew it because of that and like I have enough of a baseline understanding to know that they make a bunch of videos on uh like underrated weapons or whatever

But I I don’t watch them only reason I know about them is secondhand stuff from other people talking about stuff banana rngs I don’t think banana rngs particularly obscure H Scout probably counts okay consider whether or not the weapon uh you’re mentioning is more obscure than the flower of frost and the hambat

Because I I don’t really feel like they are what do I watch I usually just like play things instead of watching something like if I have the option between watching somebody play a video game or playing a video game I’d usually rather just play the video game I mean

Unholy Trident uh Unholy tridon is also a weapon Swap and get fixed boy in remix seed and is actually quite good in uh 16% damage 23 let’s think are the Orit Shalon pedals yeah they’re probably better the terrible case of YouTube accent just like the uh like happy uh or like

Enthusiastic inflection on everything like that kind of thing I think describing somebody is doing clickbait as making them go to that is a bit silly because um it’s kind of just the reality of YouTube that to a degree you have to do some level of enticing people with bold or outlandish

Things in thumbnails or titles um got a leaf blower from planta we’ll probably get something from planta I don’t know which one of plantos drops but honestly we’ll probably just go until we get one that feels obscure look B can be bad yeah but I feel

Like the problem is the way that YouTube works is you’re in direct competition with other people constantly non-stop it is an extremely competitive environment and in order to succeed in that environment there are certain things that you have to do and trying to entice people with thumbnails and titles is just necessary

Um you know you try to minimize it you can try to make sure that it’s not untrue uh you can do uh things like that but good faith clickbait yeah wasp gun doesn’t count I kind of want to use the WASP gun I wanted to use the wasin on on our Mage play

Through well a good example of like something that I would consider honestly like by a strict definition clickbait is like the video from when I beat the game with a lawn mower the title of the video is called like I beat the weapon with the worst

Game in Terr or the worst weapon in Terraria and it’s just like a picture of the Moon Lord with this fight took 80 hours which is entirely true but it gives you no information about um what the weapon was and whether or not it’s the worst weapon is a debatable claim

And there were plenty of people in that comment SE section debating whether or not it’s true but that is like a something that entices people to click on the video uh because it’s like an outlandish challenges challenging claim and it also gets people to like interact

With it by telling me that oh it’s not actually the worst weapon or things like that um that’s a very minor case of it but that’s like you have to do things like that when you’re making YouTube videos um and so I can’t really get upset about somebody uh they doing things like

That take off the shark tooth necklace uh Warrior emblems also completely useless at this point I’m going to swap that with wings not even using melee weapons oh I don’t know what a pixie does I need four more what’s up with all the sunflowers uh if you notice this whole area down

Here is corrupted the sunflowers allow the PC us to live here despite being in the middle of the corruption oh that balloon feels good that feels really Good It’s a very Niche thing um and you need a lot of sunflowers in order to counter corruption in large amounts as you can see by how many I had to put down there um many hours over in this game 4,860 something God we have really not been getting much

Luck with these Pixy dust drops okay well we have plenty of souls to play because we were doing our farming for pig Rons in the hollow yeah they negate a number of corrupt blocks each um I forget the exact number but in heavily corrupted areas like that you need a lot of them

Okay this one will get me enough ber Wings bit expensive uh let me try to reforge this flower Frost something that busts 5% uh okay Mystic mystic’s good he got a pretty high Mana cost to begin with see about uh I’ll take angry bit of a DPS

Boost okay where’s the wizard he’s in the ocean I’m going to buy the uh magic ball from The Wizard use that and then get our place set up to fight the twins what we do after fighting the Wall of Flesh uh basically just got obscure weapons in early hard mode uh we’re

Prech I’m about to fight the twins um that entirely entirely worked out how well to fight the twins um we’ll figure that one out I plan to use the flower of frost but beyond that um plan um I want death weed my death weed supplies are really low why always the twins

First uh I don’t know I usually just default to doing them first is the heat gun forgettable yeah you get a pylon you probably pylon yeah what weapon people debate is lawn mower uh paper airplanes wouldn’t Hammer um stuff like that as I acknowledge in the video it is

Debatable because they all have ups and downs I think the lawnmower is worse than the other options though okay let me get some death weed Canon plant today uh probably yeah hello there person with the command name but there just so much better you can actually attack stuff and the

Hammmer and get Buffs yes but they actual DPS is considerably lower than the lot is considerably higher no consider considerably lower than the lawn mower like the lawnmower hits for eight damage five times a second that’s pretty remarkable in comparison to something like a wooden Hammer that hits

For two damage twice a second but yes the wooden Hammer does have access to flasks and it can have its speed buff that can get armor penetration um and it is much easier to actually hit things with but it’s not a super clear cut um this

Is uh better or worse than the other one they have ups and downs wasn’t the heat gun one of the best weapons in like 1.3 PVP I don’t know I I’ve like never done Terraria PVP got death weed anywhere huh huh yeah turret PVP does kind of suck

Boulder staff this run I don’t think any of pla’s drops are a lot more forgettable than Golem’s drops because Golem is much more formable than planta is um so if we were going to use a boss’s weapon drops they would be plantos hello death weed okay that’s some death weed that

Grown honestly don’t know no it’s not grown okay I get some fully grown death weed then flamethrower flamethrower is not obscure is there another crop pit down here there’s a death weed yeah that’s where flyone death weed looks like that these ones have been untouched so they should be fine okay that’s enough

You make Mana regen magic power iron skin swiftness regen and we have well F Buffs okay let’s expand our place to fight a little bit LNS up here actually that height should be fine I just go further to the side all right here’s your pop quiz how

Differently the flower of frost does not bounce on platforms and planter boxes but the flower of fire does that changes how I need to do things because uh I can’t have them bounce off these Platforms in order to come in the boss because they’re not bouncing as

High I’m also going to be [ __ ] here um because we’re going to hit both of them in the second phase at the same time and I do not want to do that cuz that fight is way more annoying so forgotten that Rel logic forgot to update the code uh space 1984 Beetle

Juice uh no more effective in space for getting wyverns and uh motion probes to spawn I mean the damage is fine it’s just very awkward to use um thankfully the twins are very cuz I mean the reason we’re fighting the twins is because the twins

Are going to be the easiest boss for me to fight with a flower of frost at the end of the day like um they’re predictable they on a straight line um and they’re just hble uh certainly easier than Skeletron oh sorry certain using the Destroyer maybe not Skeletron but

Um along with things that were available beforehand book one from the old zom is op for the Destroyer to of infinite wisdom yeah I’m not going to use the to of infinite wisdom for the Destroyer um that’s like the one actually notable ogre drop Spirit flame I don’t think

Spirit flame is is forgettable everyone was like telling me to get the spirit flame when I was playing a mage well specifically old ones are only tier two like tier three is not forgettable tier one is doesn’t have any weapons but tier 2 is just filled with forgettable weapons

Plays itself but it’s fun sniping things I have good Aim so Crystal V thornn kind of not used nah nah at least we got reworked yeah um I mean it was more just like it the main problem it had before was eye frame issues and also it had a really bad

Leashing issue where you had to be within a certain distance of it in order for the weapon to work um and that range was really small so it was really difficult to use it while you were moving um and that range got increased and I think they fixed the eye

Frame issues so it’s actually like good now um what Bots have you done so far uh the prehard mode stuff did we fight every prehard mode boss I think we fought every prehard mode boss um and the twins right now I want to do Skeletron Prime problem is we need a

Blood moon um to get the blood Thorn you uh it’s trash fishron staff is better well the deadly sphere staff it I don’t agree with that actually I like the deadly sphere a lot more than the Tempest staff deadly sphere doesn’t require projectiles now I think it’s worse than

The Xeno staff but you could use the deadly sphere staff to get the Xeno staff uh it’s really good at crowds which is what motions are and there’s four hit boxes on the motion saucer so the piercing actions of the deadly sphere are pretty effective

Pretty sure we used the deadly t i was during my Summoner play through a couple weeks ago that’s a good weapon getting a blood bone is just that much of a pain yeah but I do want to get it so I mean part of the flaw of this challenge

Is that it requires getting you know obscure and out of the way weapons and usually they’re obscure and out of the way for a reason charge Blaster can isn’t forgetting forgettable uh I don’t think it is I just kind of want to use the bloodthorn ball hood is uncommon no it isn’t

What I mean if you’re playing corruption the odds of you getting a ball or hurt when you’re breaking orbs to summon the eater is pretty good um and it’s also a good melee weapon against the eer it’s a flare that’s got piercing um I wouldn’t consider it obscure

Forgettable at all use rot of Discord and THS potions no um and we are also in h mode so I’m going to be looking for hard mode weapons I’m not going to be looking around for preh Hard Mode stuff obsidian swordfish I thought about the obsidian swordfish I just feel like fishing it

Up yeah all the orb items are well known cuz like pretty much every playthrough you’re going to be um breaking at least three orbs um unless you’re specifically trying to summon it manually with a summoning item because it’s just much easier to break orbs to summon the boss than to get all

The drops for the summon item um uh and the first one’s guaranteed to be a gun but then you have two drops after that at minimum um I can make an invincibility machine out of a slime statue or Spike I’m aware of this when I going to do this

Challenge do it again in Calamity no I don’t really like Calamity that much and a hotline fishing hook for the obsidian swordfish no they reworked lava fishing at 1.4 you can do lava fishing by making a lava proof bugnut which you can make with hellstone and regular

Hollowed armor takes 54 hollowed bows in order to get 54 hollowed bows you need to kill at minimum two Mech bosses yes I could make the hollowed hood and it might be statistically better I haven’t actually checked it um hollowed head cure uh but honestly against Prime

It’s bad it’s really really doesn’t it do like 100 damage no what is Medusa’s head like bad lots of teeth are you thinking about the life drain Jason because the life drain does hit an infinite number of targets and the life drain is basically just the much better version of the Medusa

Head the life drain can also attack from a distance yeah the life drain’s great Medusa head isn’t okay let me um the blood bones can Sprout from planter boxes so I’m going to put some planter boxes around the place you know we have the ice rod Synergy but um

But then we’re not in a position to hit him with the bloodthorn I’m just going to aim for face um and I think we can kill him by the end of the night at the rate we’re dealing damage if we just purely go for head damage I

Was hoping the AOE would let us get the hands but that’s just not working out I want the hand bat to work but the problem is just staying on top of it’s not to hit him but the problem is going at him with the hand bat just kind of

Makes everything else a nightmare we might have to finish him off with the hand bat though because uh we’re going to lose our uh uh Mana regen potion buff for the end of the night um and I don’t know if he’s going to be dead when that buff wears

Off and if he’s not then we’re going to just be going in for hambat oh that hit me yeah I this thing really sucks wow is there something I’m missing with this weapon like is there something you would do with it that would make it better cuz

I I mean I am fighting a boss that has decently High defense and you know it doesn’t have super high base damage so it’s probably you know getting a bit um um of underwhelming results on on the basis of that but boy this thing is not good that’s a werewolf

Night it’s it’s more like crowd control how many times does it like does it have infinite piercing within its range cuz T of infinite wisdom’s used often more so than the other uh go2 or zombies drops at least yeah I mean this is a cool weapon it just sucks

About it you also get the rights to use the um uh sentries outside of the event I got to put all my focus on just making sure that flying enemies don’t get through oops I uh clicked off screen that can’t do [ __ ] yeah get stopped by the point

Um you can thr is snot at me which is a little bit annoying honestly maybe I just try to hit him with this that the blood Thorn just does so little damage against him how Bigg is the notnot AOE the ogre’s hit boxes are ridiculous um there was when I was doing

The old ones Army in legendary mode there was that one point in time where I was behind the ogre and like 10 ft like 10 or 11 blocks above him and his like big AOE slam box still hit me um uh yeah he has like some of the worst hit boxes in the

Game just dying yeah Queen slime type AOE yeah flame Bo cuz it’s forgettable it’s U powerful I’m using the flame boost cuz I felt like buying it okay can we buy a better VOD now okay we got the ghastly glaive I don’t know what this thing

Does uh summons ghosts as it hits ene enemies now that we have a couple medals I think we can buy a better Sentry which um will make the event drastically easier um I’m going to go ahead and get the exploding trap and just put that down in the hoik I got the better

Weapon Z me is so boring I want the Sleepy octopot uh okay uh does this thing I have like infinite piercing to be a decent Destroyer pick oh it like I see that’s interesting you go biom mimic off swing with it Horseman’s blade junr seems to like it we’ll go and let

Theing traps take care of that side I mean this is okay I guess I’m not using melee armor so I’m not really getting good Buffs on it um it’s fine really T would meteor staff be good for planta I don’t know why you would use the meteor staff over the Venom

Staff what is the Sleepy octopod it’s like a a you like swing it around um in a circle I honestly don’t know what to call it a Quarter Staff maybe I don’t know what it’s supposed to to be it’s bad it swings and does something once in a

While all melee ogre weapons are bad uh I mean this thing at least seems like usable not great but like usable is it the one that slams probably there’s a sandstorm right now the drops three melee weapons the brand of The Inferno the Sleepy octopod and the Gastly blade I assume there

Might be a fourth one honestly I don’t know honestly what I think could be a cool idea is if you took some of the ogers weapon drops and moved them to prehard mode and rework them a little bit um and have them drop from dark Mage

Because tier one old onomi just has no reason to exist uh in terms of like the loot that it gives you it just like lets you use sentes permanently and teaches you about the event but it’s not good uh and the yoga drops so many weapons and uh that kind of suck no

Like give this sleepy octopod to the uh the dark Mage or something is anybody really going to be upset at the loss of the Sleepy octopod from the ogre the dark Mage is just sad yeah it is honestly the blood Thorn’s better than the Gastly blade you don’t know a trick

To stacking sentries what is I’m not sure I understand the question do you mean why the enemies are sitting still that’s a ho um oh this funky way to put sentes on top of each other I’m not familiar whatever it is is just actuators uh if I would to guess it’s that the

Sentries are affected by gravity so you would put it on a block and then you would actuate the block and the Sentry would fall to the ground um and then you would react toate it uh and put another Sentry there and then have it fall again that’s my guess

Uh the Orange zapinator is not that broken it’s fine you put ve belts if they get moved by conveyor belt that would make sense I see a post the queen name what’s the benefit stacking sentries okay Cobalt Banner which boss have I defeated what weapons have I

Used uh today for the twins we use the flower Frost and for Skeletron Prime use the bloodthorn uh okay I want the sleepy octopot though like we got the Phantom Phoenix we can use the Phantom Phoenix on the Destroyer I’m fine with that but I want the Sleepy octopod I’ve heard Phantom

Phoenix was good against the Destroyer does the uh does that Phantom projectile Pierce or like explode Phantom Phoenix is pretty well Known why is the AOE on that over spit so big I don’t know it should Pierce The Phantom is infinite Fierce okay uh let me I of Mana regen potions I just make a stone in a bottle yeah banners do work but they’re weak okay thean Goblin calt okay what’s the next boss

Destroyer okay yeah infinite piercing I imagine that’d be pretty Back Against The Destroyer I’ve uh I’ve done enough fishing for the day I don’t want to fish for an obsidian sord we’re going to use the stuff from the old ones arm me for the Destroyer whether that be the ghastly glaive the

Sleepy octopod the Phantom Phoenix or the bloodthorn whatever um think the O bow does not fit the theme of The Challenge I don’t think it’s particularly noteworthy is there any forgettable broken weapons that are brought to the hard to obtain no generally if a weapon is broken it

Will be noteworthy regardless for how difficult to obtain it is both seems too good something being good doesn’t mean it’s not forgettable yeah it’s not about something that’s bad it’s about something that’s forgettable I think using a bow for one boss is pretty Hess handy corn rifle forgettable um could be fun use uh it’s fairly forgettable Raven staff do you mean the bat scepter Raven staff I I don’t think is very forgettable but the bat sceptor which is the magic weapon that shoot bats uh that you get full pumpking is pretty pretty

Obscure the weapons were good everyone do old zombie in every playr um no because the tier three old on zombie weapons are like incredibly good um and people C most certainly don’t do them every play through still skipped pretty often now the tier 2 weapons are not nearly as good as the

Tier 3 weapons and they’re also a lot more of them and a lot of them are like none of them are as uh they’re kind of in general a lot less noteworthy um Raven staff is pretty good uh I don’t think Raven staff is the problem is there are so few Summoner weapons

That um like none of them are really obscure because they’re just out at and of them for them to be forgettable and there’s also the problem of like everybody knows different things in the game what’s not memorable to one person could be very noteworthy to another person

Like the person earlier who said they always get the flowers of fire and frost every playthrough and use them like yeah there’s there’s a degree of subjectivity here yeah uh I I do notice a little bit of a discrepancy here with the uh melee and Ranger weapons from the tier 2 old ones

Army and the oh sorry with the ranger and Mage weapons from the tier 2 old ones Army and the uh melee weapons because the Ranger weapons weapon and the meleo uh and the Mage weapon uh seem to actually be pretty good whereas the melee weapons suck more or less right uh

Right obscure desert Mage weapon the spirit lamp I don’t think that’s very obscure when I was playing Mage uh legendary mode people were constantly bringing up the spirit lamp and telling me to get it are all true melee weapons bad no um but it’s generally difficult to utilize true melee weapons

Because well you just physically need to be your things um and without high defense it can be really difficult to do that uh the event was added before whips were a thing which is why it doesn’t drop whips and uh as far as centries yeah I imagine

Just kind of uh having the bases covered with the oh summons uh having the bases covered with the sentries face Sabers we had a face saber uh we replaced it with the hambat um which we still have on us we finished off Skeletron Prime with that hambat speed this up a

Little god it feels like cheating using a boat because boat like no matter what it is a boat is inherently a good weapon because you can just use whatever arrows you want you can stay a distance away from things and it’s not like I have to use bad

Weapons but like comparing the jankiness of trying to angle shots with the flower of Fire or the blood Thorns annoying things or having to be super close up with the Gastly glaive and then just going to I can shoot things with a bow is such a uh a stout contrast

Please give me the O god what the plan of the infono I don’t know how many more old one zombies I have in me uh if we don’t get the Sleepy octopod next time I I don’t think I’m going to do it a fourth time or a fifth time

Does this thing even work it’s a sword that you can block attacks with oh okay that’s probably fine oh when I get plan to get Christmas tree sword I don’t have any plans for later yeah we’ll get there when we get there you wish these kind of grindy

Weapon drops could be shimmered old On’s Army Wall of Flesh I mean on the one hand it would be nice on the other hand it kind of defeats the point of like having some Randomness I think is a good thing the timing on the Perry like didn’t feel

Great um which might have just been because the speed stuff was walking towards me at um use Leaf blow and wasp gun for events well we’ll figure it out when we get there yeah we’re probably going to use some planta drops but it’ll probably just be whichever one she drops first

Um cuz farming planto is kind of annoying the reason people use planto is drops is because getting them is annoying uh I think Venus Magnum I would not use if I got it to drop cuz Venus Magnum is not obscure and it’s quite good um uh I would use the

Grenade launcher I would use wasp gun nettle burst leaf blower um and probably other ones do honestly I couldn’t name everything planta drops yeah I said I wouldn’t use the Venus mag Venus Magnum is probably the best thing that planta drops um Pig me staff pygmy staff isn’t really

As obscure it’s just bad cu the pygmy staff um uh it’s like a 1 in four drop which is a lot higher than her other drop CU I think the other one’s like 1 and seven or one and eight or something yeah Pym staff’s pretty much useless

But it being useless doesn’t mean it’s not memorable do the an charm work worth having equipped no um there’s no reason to have the an CH and not have the an Shield uh the en CH exists to be made into the enk shield once you get that knockback

Immunity that’s a pretty good upgrade but just the debuff immunity itself is not really worth it oh I guess the seed though exists I don’t agree with it being better than the Venus Magnum though Venus Magnum kcks ass pulb obscure I don’t really think it is but

Not as much as like the Gap ligator I use the pulse bow during my uh hardcore legendary playthrough um and get fix for I don’t know if I actually used it successfully but I know I at least tried to use it star cell staff no the star cell staff is not obscure I

Mean it’s one of the two pillar weapons for Summoner every single time you go to craft a Stardust Dragon staff which basically every Summoner is going to do every playthrough they’re going to see the Stardust cell staff I’d consider the uh the alternate magic weapon more forgettable than the starter

SST but I also uh don’t like magic weapons so uh why is stust so bad the problem is it has to go up against the Stardust Dragon which is incredibly absurdly powerful um it’s not a bad minion but the Stardust Dragon is obscenely strong and throwing away the best minion in the game

Um go fight partisan we might make one for plant we’ll see how we feeling and what things are on the table Dragon bre ter Prisma yes for the moon Lord yeah and for the pillows probably also yeah uh the teris is more consistent but it doesn’t uh match the dragon’s raw DPS

With a firecracker uh it would also be cool if the U dropped greater healing potions you don’t know why the dragon is so strong I mean it just does really really really high damage that’s that’s about it it just does extremely high damage and specifically it synergizes very well

With the firecracker which is a whip that explodes for like 2.75 times the base damage of the minion that hits and because the dragon is one minion that has very high damage it explodes for like 2.75 times that damage which is a lot uh and it hits really hard yo

Traveling Merchant give me a gator now the stus dragon does have pretty bad AI uh it can be really frustrating to deal with but it’s very strong yeah yeah it scales with slots used it’s one minion that gets strong stronger which is very strong with the firecracker uh the desert Tiger has a

Similar thing but it works very well with the firecracker uh because it’s just one minion that has very high damage and so that 2.75x damage explosion uh gets really high honestly the flower Frost is better than I was expecting it’s not good but it’s it’s mostly just that it has a

Very annoying attack mechanism with the bouncing the damage itself is not awful um it’s just I if the projectile moved like noticeably faster or it had it just had more velocity behind it um I could see this weapon being a lot more fun to use hand bat the ogre nah Master mode

Ogre hits really hard um I don’t want to get close to him I think his melee swing does like 500 damage or something yo is that octopod yo this thing’s so Bad I assume it’s bad at least honestly I I don’t think I’ve ever actually tried to use this thing as a weapon uh so this thing charges power as it swung uh to smash enemies it has no alt fire okay so it’s swing animation is it like swings around you twice and then

Has a very small AOE shock wave in front of it it looks like I think that’s what we’re looking for right here give me a alligator oh that’s not a gator sleepy octopod could be moved to prehard mode and it would not be op yeah in fact honestly you could move

This thing as is to prehard mode and it would still probably suck and not be worth using you know maybe be a bit strong for post eval boss but we reforge it to Lodge I’ll see what we can get Farmers we don’t have much money um I’ll go with Superior that’s

If if you wanted a high damage piercing melee weapon just get a triple the tri there’s no advantage to using this over a trip look at that and honestly I mean the ballista are putting in work but the EP octopod is doing like a lot of the damage against the

Destroyer uh it’s not like um this is just the ballista killing him and the EP oot doing nothing like it’s hitting hard that is true the drier isn’t e it’s just crippled so yeah I’d give it a solid like four out of 10 it’s probably better than you were expecting it was better

Than I was expecting it’s usable technically I mean like it it functioned fine I could not imagine using the Sleepy octopod against any boss other than the destroyer and having it being remotely effective like this is the best case scenario for the Destroyer we walked in

Frost it’s the weapon that I have that has the most range yeah dried Circle gives defense it also gives a very large HP regeneration buff it’s like three HP per second or something it’s quite good bronchitis sucks I I need dungeon weapons OBS here eh I think the most obscure dungeon

Weapon is probably the Valor which is the yo-yo um because it’s not really particularly noteworthy and it was also added in after the other dungeon weapons um you at the biome chests if I got a biome chest key I would probably use the weapon at least if it was like the Ice Key

Um just because they’re not something use very much but I don’t think any of them are really obscure forgettable because by their very nature they’re memorable which boss SL pillar am I really not looking forward to I mean none of them I don’t think any of them really going to be that

Bad yeah uh if you’re just tuning in now um I’m passing some time to give life Fruit and plantas bulbs time to grow uh more time just to make it a bit easier to get um cuz the less time we have to spend mining the better and I think we’ll get nice

A tanky build on a corruption world if we were in a crimson world we would have been taking 16 less damage a hit um because we would have had flesh Knuckles and a bokos glove uh which would have made it even more greous and we also could have had a bass statue on

Top of that um along with some other improvements so we don’t have like a and we don’t even have like good defense right now um I would have 11 more defense if I was using the hollowed helmet for instance um oh yeah I should get the cake from

The part go for the mining speed buff okay uh yeah I’ll uh I’ll go like this this is fine me make a uh pickax X I go ahead and retire the titanium Chainsaw the hell does the poy go move in she has a low chance to show up um

Whenever you have a certain number of NPCs I think 12 maybe 14 um and then they changed it um so that once you meet the requirements for an NPC to move in they always move in at their normal rates so once you get a pral to move in once even

If she dies she’ll move back in easily um you don’t have to wait long periods okay oh my fairy wings aren’t even reforged to a defensive bonus sharp pointy boatful speed buff please speed buff please speed buff please speed buff please quick is fine waiting for a shimmer I’m not going to

Um build where you just use Abigail and maybe some of the don’t St other melee weapons um yeah it’s from he joblin not uh not dread naus uh the Hemo joins drop the blood blood Thorn the blood eels drop the DPO fer and Dread Nautilus drops the

Sanguine staff uh Hema joins and blood eels also Drop The hemor Dread Nautilus does not drop the hemx will planta awake if Crimson SL corruption infects it if you are nearby when the Crimson of corruption overtakes the bulb and breaks it yes if you are not nearby no yeah so

Um to explain something you’ll notice with the low damage challenges specifically topper short sword and lawnmower only um I built like extremely powerful tank builds which are completely unnecessary when you’re playing the game normally the only reason I did that is because with those weapons I was pretty much forced to take

Damage constantly um in a way that was only really sustainable with an extremely strong tank build um it is complete Overkill to play the game like that normally um and it’s honestly probably kind of a bad habit from doing those uh because it’s completely unnecessary to do that even in like

Hardcore like it is obscene Overkill to have a full tank build with like flesh Knuckles and mid Max defense um uh there’s a light food over here like when I did flare gun only um I didn’t do that I was still using like Crimson armor on the mech bosses when I

Was us doing flare gun on I didn’t even uh M for Hard Mode ORS cuz that didn’t necessitate me taking damage constantly we still haven’t found the temple I should look at that uh we got enough CL fight way more than enough um I’m just going to look around for

Life Fruit now life food in the temple you want me allow myself to use autop paw and saveing on hard core no they’re lame uh it’s not cheating it’s just lame kind of defeats the whole purpose um I eat the [ __ ] out of him man this mimic is not eepy okay there we

Kind of sucks um and I think that’s it as far as like functional items that you can get from the eclipse what if you just summon it and then remove hard mode by an editor I don’t know you can test it out nice 81 gold from that

Mimic side bring Max summons into a prehard will can you fight them uh you can fight them yeah yeah um however uh even if you kill all the mech bosses plant’s bulb still won’t spawn until uh you kill the Wall of Flesh another mimic funny okay it would be one more for full

HP and two more for full HP plus the uh AIS fruit I one more like fighting move mode using only pre boss you um I mean you could do it realistically that would probably just be the feather fall dodging strategy CU feather fall potions are pretty op um and you just use

Featherfall and a bundle of balloons um and just run circles around them and then there’s a weapon I mean Stow Cannon we’re out of the Jungle now my spun is going to wear off soon find another life Fruit though the star can can take out Moon leaches yeah I mean the Phoenix blastro

Canon uh with luminite bullets and the star cannon uh well honestly if I were to do it I would probably just do it with the Phoenix Blaster cuz I like the Phoenix blaster um you know I think the St in it definitely could and even if it couldn’t

Um you could still find ways like teleporters I guess they’re not pre boss they’re just preh hard mode um yeah it was pre bosio not pre mod um star cannon is pre boss though uh with gold chest near the underworld uh okay heish must be up cuz I don’t see it down

Anywhere there it is okay we go didn’t see any planto buls unfortunately beach balls beach balls are lame generally something like that being conditional on an exploit uh that negates the boss uh is a lame way to do it if an alternative is possible if it’s the only way to do it

Sure but it’s not the only way to do it um and it doesn’t really require any skill or challenge it’s just kind of sitting there while the boss can’t do anything it can’t attack fun to set up but it’s a completely different approach to doing something like

It I can’t think of anything that would be strictly disqualifying but it would be very difficult to do I’m not sure you’d get past the wall of flash but with some elaborate teleporter setup and and NPC spawn cap reached Maybe travel Merchant Goblin Scout so next to play after trraria I don’t know okay ocean here imagine training an AI to beat the moon Lord immediately on a new world using it starting gear and nothing else what do you mean by training an AI mean just making a

Macro I think AI is at that point uh of like being capable of doing that yet a task on a specific seat yeah you’re not really training it you’re just doing it yourself and then having it be run back I mean the thing is like the minimum requirements to do something is almost

Always uh exceedingly low but whether or not you’re willing to do it with the bare minimum requirements is usually the question question like the thing is I’ve mentioned this before but terraria’s skill cealing isn’t really that high and like once you feel like doing something once you’ve reached a certain level of

Skill in the game you can probably just do it um if you feel like doing it I doing games frame by frame I mean it’s not all frame by frame it depends on the game but some sections can just be run um and then you just play back the

Specific PCH that need frame perfect inputs right what am I doing I’m making butterfly wings all right and I wanted to make my weapon upgrades skill cealing can be as high as you want like a guy who did a whole world cover in lava play through I

I I don’t agree because I don’t think like I think that person has reached the skill ceiling like it’s not difficult to hit the ceiling and once you do hit the ceiling you can basically do whatever you want um like I don’t like most of the challenges I’ve done any highly skilled

Player could also do with a couple of exceptions that usually have to do with alternative skills uh that are not just playing Terraria um Tas as a thing speci with RNG I mean it’s specific seeds um I I guess you have to do with enemy spawns but there are challenges so hard that

Tases can’t beat them I mean at that point if a task can’t do it it’s like I would just say it’s not possible I I wouldn’t say that challenge is particularly hard like if you can’t slow it down frame by frame and do it by like feeding inputs I I just don’t

Know that it could be done humans probably can’t beat a Tas humans make tases but Tas has limits tasses can’t play rain W no I mean I I think you could definitely you I mean you could just like set up macros to do inputs for you and that would still be tool assisted

No it’s the same thing that the uh saber has like if you did partially human play and then just switched over to to do particular skips or something in rainor that you couldn’t do manually because it requires a bunch of frame perfect inputs right that would that would still be a

Yeah I’m not going to try to Eep on planta but uh the chlorified weapons will be fine I’m just building little Arena I’ve been trying to undo the bad habits from like legendary hardcore which is just uh building things excessively large and overing excessively because I used to not do

That and it’s really completely unnecessary to do it it’s just except in those difficulties where it’s like extremely beneficial um oh they don’t save statement area that makes sense improve your writing okay capitalize your eye uh add punctuation make the sentence actually coherent and complete that is a fragment

That is not a full statement honestly I feel like the choopy saber and the chifi pin are basically identical um like in function I feel like these two are going to play out to be about the same the P’s got more range so it’s probably better um and then the Claymore

Uh doesn’t go through blocks so it kind of sucks I mean honestly genuinely the cloi PO is pretty good by virtue of the fact that it has a projectile that goes through blocks and goes a solid distance away and it’s also craftable with very easy to obtain materials I could definitely see this

Being something that could be helpful to make uh when playing the game just because you can attack things through blocks it’s like a death CLE but not a rare drop from a rare event gloves from melee speed you could plant with P alone I mean I’m sure I

Still could kill her I wouldn’t sh just kill her um I think making the ptis in could be a pretty reasonable option um at at this stage in the game especially because it’s got creat stun lock potential um this the ball doesn’t spawn until later unlike the saber the saber is more close

Range uh and it can also do a similar thing but it’s a it doesn’t have as much range to it so it’s not quite as good at it this is probably fine for pla that’s a lot of space okay well now we need to actually find a bulb for planta um go home
