There we go hey everybody what’s up Calamity time yes so um if you don’t know what what this is if you don’t know Terraria if you don’t know what any of this is um um I I talked to lickle I talked to CJ at Dr crafty and

They were down to play Terraria every Friday every Friday until we beat it then we we’re gonna do modded Terraria which is the Calamity mod which is like quadruples the size of the game and is like a really really high quality the thing is we were planning on playing every Friday

The last time we played this was a month ago um fortunately the start of Terraria is very slow we just got past that point we just got past that revengeance mode no because I’ll tell you why I’ll tell you why um we’re playing on expert mode

Uh right now we’re playing on God if I ever click off it closes the game um if what was I saying we’re playing on expert mode and that’s as hard as we get because right now um here’s here’s everyone’s experience lickle and I we have together like we

Did a co-op play through just hanging out uh we beat Terraria off stream the whole thing uh unmodded we just did a regular playthrough just hung out and beat it uh so we we have that much experience like one playthrough we got through yo yo thanks for the 40 months

Oh my God uh crafty has played an insane amount and is an absolute expert at this he he knows what he’s doing uh and CJ has literally never played the game before um so we’re not playing it on some insanely hard difficulty because it’s CJ’s first time playing but we’re still playing it

On a on an expert difficulty We have basically the full range of skill levels here we got like someone who’s you know beating the game someone who’s never played it someone who’s a pro um CJ played last time yes he played through the early game sounds like average CJ skill for any

Game no he’s really good at stuff what are you talking about he picked up breath the Wild and beat it in like 30 minutes in a week dude from like never doing any speed runs for it dude’s nuts uh what class I don’t think we’ve decided on classes yet what boss did you

Unique like uh set of things so like uh there’s uh melee there’s uh Magic there’s ranged there’s summoning and Rogue um I believe Rogue is exclusive to Calamity uh and so basically those different type of classes they all have like different weapons that you can choose from and like different uh items

Um if you are interested in looking at different sets that the Calamity recommend the Columbia mod recommends you can actually look at the Wiki page that I sent in the group chat and so I just use whatever I want uh you could also just use whatever you want these

Classes are all like self-imposed yeah it’s mainly like where you want to like specialize in and like do certain things like it’s it’s better for people to like specialize in specific like uh classes because then we can have like a more wider range of attack um and sometimes it makes things easier

Or harder for uh for certain like bosses and stuff like that like maybe maybe one boss is like weak to Magic and another boss is weak to melee I’m gonna use whatever this is Stone armor no all right all right what is that yeah it’s kind of gonna be a general idea

Yeah it kind of if you min max like a certain class then you’ll be better at like if you try and be a jack of all trades to be a master of none kind of vibe but you can also just be a master of none that’s a valid option no I’ll be

But like I I get why you know there is a building element to it but it’s actually mostly like boss fights yeah it’s kind of like the big thing about it not so much craft or mine it’s like mine fight not Minecraft mine fight yeah yeah anyway I’m gonna start working on a

Magic storage system I think that’s my goal you know what that sounds good what I mean what what what’s something that uh that crafty and Lego could do well what’s doing that kind of stuff expand the slums that’s what I’m doing at the moment ready to spawn good work

And CJ you can just watch okay I’m gonna go you could probably explore the sky yeah you could explore and try and find some loot because they’re actually some pretty good stuff in the floating islands yeah that’s definitely a good idea just exploring the harpies will fall victim

To be I believe after we fight Skeletron there’s a biome that we need to explore like a new biome that’s added by a calamity so I think it’s over by one of the oceans if I’m not mistaken okay we tried to beat Skeletron yeah that was the last thing we did right

So it’s like Melee but what is that it sounds like Sky glaze it’s largely developed with content spread throughout the game at least he’s 155 weapons 32 accessories five new full arm resets 11. um what should I be collecting for rogue at this point like I still don’t know why

I’m collecting this area late but I have something called sulfurous armor that is uh recommended for our current state uh it seems like um okay so you need something called urchin Stingers acid wood sulfuric scales a sulfurous sand and that’s it I’m pretty sure sulfur’s stuff you can find in the
