Candles and place these around the arena as well now we want to place a boss statue this is found in either the underground desert or desert fishing crates now grab some honey and add that to your arena for even more regen of course you can make improvements in the

If your at the point of the game you're using the blade of grass you should have a cloud in a bottle and a hook so i think the arena should be taller and have more spacing between platforms
i just do wood platform. always good enough for me. maybe the occasional torch or campfire
Y’all would not believe the size of my arena max height and covers 50 percent of map with campfire lanterns and torchers biggest waste of my life

I only have a big ass arena with some campfires and star and heart lanterns ,i let the potions do the rest of the work
What's that platform you using im a beginner so i don't know what platform that is
im using 4 layer with 12 tile high and use every single thing like Heart lantern,Heart statue,Star in the bottle,Star statue,Peace Candle,Honey,Water(for not caught on fire), absolute anything
I barely even make arenas, let alone do all this…
Very late to commenting, but you only need one campfire to cover that whole area. The best way to check is by looking at your buffs to see if you have the buff, and if you don’t, walk away a bit and place another campfire. The range is probably larger than you think.
I remember using asphalt for the ground then having occasional grass somewhere in the arena for the sunflowers
